After deciding to stay in the Ostruvek Hotel due to the positive comments of other travellers here on "tripadvisor" we booked on "hrs", asking for a double room and quiet location .Nice surprise when we arrived (tired, as we came from Brazil),they gave us a very quiet room to an inner courtyard, with one big bed in a large room. We...

Hello, We just had a recent visit to Prague and stayed in Hotel Ostruvek, where our wallet got stolen. We noticed the following: Doors can also be opened from the outside when they are closed, a rarity in any hotel. This made that, in the middle of the night, a burglar could break in, take our wallet, and rush away...

We were quite satisfied with this hotel at the beginning because the hotel room is quite good for its price. Yes the train just passes by next to the hotel but we were so tired every day that we did not hear anything. Yes the room has no A/C but luckily the weather was cool so we did not suffer...

We paid £90 for 3 nights B&B as we were on a budget for our mini tour of central Europe, and were pleasantly suprised by this hotel. Yes it is a 15 minute tram ride from the main touristy part of Prague, but we enjoyed taking the tram, which only cost 10cz (about 30 english pennies). It is situated in...

IF your goal is to save $$ and you don't mind a 15-min tram ride to all attractions AND it's NOT summer - Ostruvek is for you. NO A/C makes it unbearable when it's hot, Floor fan is barely enough to keep you alive. The room #6 we're in is at most 230 f2, inc. bathroom. There's a room for...

My boyfriend and I stayed in Hotel Ostruvek for 4 nights and we were pleasantly surprised when we got into our room. Two single beds were joined to make a double bed, which allowed us to sleep soundly without feeling the other tossing in the middle of the night. The room was also big and provided ample space. WiFi was...

Rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is good and does vary a bit each day, staff were really friendly and helpful, and it cost us just under €40 per night for both of us. From the airport, get the 119 to Dejvicka, then green metro to museum and finally, tram 11 - The bright yellow "Erotic City" is a good...

We stayed in a double room, in which both the room and bathroom were spacious. Our decor for the room was modern, and had a small closet where you are able to hang clothes and the room also included a small fridge. Our room was clean and despite what other reviews said our room was cleaned the days we were...

I stayed in a double room as a single guest and the room was spacious enough to even accomodate 3 people (had it been in Paris it surely would have been a triple or quadruple room :)). It was very clean and for the money I paid it was a great bargain (72€ for three night). The hotel is located...
