This was our base while we were in Prague recently. It's a lovely hotel about 20 minutes walk from old town with lots of tram connections - you have to try the trams, they are a great way to get around!

We stayed at Hotel Ostruvek this month for few days. It is located out of the city centre, but it is easily accessible from anywhere. Lots of trams to get there even at night. Hotel clean, staff friendly, especially Lenka.
Clean hotel and warm in -10 weather hotel staff helpful. Downside no clean towels each day expected to use same towels for 3 days or pay. Buffet breakfast was ok but get a selection and great tram link into town only 10 mins away.

Staff were helpful and the room was spacious and clean and warm.

We got a taxi to the hotel and an Uber back both easy. At the airport you go to the taxi counter first at arrivals, and tell them where you are going and they allocate a taxi for you. It’s on the tram line into the city and doesn’t take long. Also food and drink are very cheap.
