Reviewed today NEW

Just returned from a very enjoyable 5 day break staying at this hotel. We found the place pretty much the same as previous reviewers i.e. excellent location, good selection of food at breakfast buffet ( albeit a bit canteen style atmosphere), very helpful reception staff and efficient housekeeping. Would happily return.

Hey, We stayed here for 5 days in August 2016. Hotel has an excellent location, old town square is a 10mins walk, for Prague castle or other far away places you can take the tram which is available 2 mins away from the hotel. Hotel reception staff was not well trained in our experience, We weren't given the right room... More

This is a standard European hotel in a great location for the major sights. Rooms are clean and well appointed (there's even a kettle!). Breakfast is buffet style and a little random. A popular hotel so breakfast time was rather busy. There are some bars and cafes very close by if a whole day sightseeing leaves you wanting to slob... More

The hotel was in a perfect location. Very close to main attractions and transport links. Mall very close by and many places to eat. Although in a busy area, it's tucked away on a quiet street which was good. The hotel itself was average. Staff were polite and helpful when needed but I wouldn't describe them as friendly - they... This hotel is well located near Prague old city square, Karl's bridge and Vazlav square. The rooms are big and clean and very quite. Breakfast was wonderful. It was nice and cousey in the room even though it was cold outside.

Stayed there for a week this November. Great hotel for that price. Staff was friendly and responsive. Very close to all main attention of Old City. One minus, breakfast which was included wasn't that great.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
