My husband and I were staying at Hotel Perla at the end of January, for three nights. It was really great experience. First of all, we were very pleased that we had free transfer from the airport, with very professional service, and welcome drink when we arrived at the hotel. That showed us that they really care about their guests....

The location of the hotel is great, very close to all the sightseeings. Airco in the room isn't airco but actually a heater I guess. An open window wasn't really an option because of the noise. Even with the windows closed it was noisy and we stayed on the 4th floor. I don't think there were any rooms at the...

We stayed at Perla Hotel in Prague for 3 nights in December 2013. My husband, 10 month old daughter and brother and sister-in-law were all very comfortable at this hotel. We enjoyed free wi-fi, breakfast and a welcome beverage. The 2 rooms were connected by a hallway that could be locked, so it provided easy storage for our stroller and...

My stay at the Perla hotel was quite lovely. The staff was very helpful and spoke English which made things more comfortable. The hotel bar/café was interestingly decorated and also served as their breakfast room each morning. The hotel is conveniently located between Old Town and Wencelas Square. You can walk to St. Charles Bridge easily and if you are...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
