Very nice hotel, small rooms (even the Deluxe) clean and nice decorated and with excellent bed. Disappointing view from room window. Just 20-30 min of easy walk from old town center and no more than 5 min from metro station. Good breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere.everage spa.

I expected this boutique hotel to be good, but I didn't realise how good it would be. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our suite was spotlessly clean and very modern. Beds were the most comfortable I've ever experienced at a hotel.Breakfast was fantastic, and very filling. The Icon is...

Pro: 1. Great location - close to everything, but on the quite street. 2. The staff couldn't be more helpful. 3. The lounge is very nice and they even let us in with our wine & cheese))) 4. The Room was very nice, I'd say not that spacious, but still great. 5. Great example of boutique hotel in contemporary style...

The Icon Hotel is within a couple of minutes walk of Wenceslas Square. All day breakfast and small but excellent menus for other meals. The bar area is used by locals so quite buzzy although not noisy. The staff are efficient and helpful. The bedroom was clean with all usual facilites including a wonderful, comfortable Swedish bed and free internet...

My wife and I stayed in the Icon for 4 nights in February 2011. This is a lovely small hotel in a quiet location within easy walking distance of all the sights. The service is excellent especially on check in. The all day complimentary breakfast is very good. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The...

The staff were friendly, knowledgable about the local tourist scene and went our of their way to provide what ever assistance they could. The staff were all multi lingual, which made up for our lack of Czech, making communication sooooo easy. We loved the location of the hotel in relation to the main train station and the local public transport...

The hotel is very modern, but at the same time really cozy and comfortable. Every room has the famous Hastens Beds, on which I had the best sleep ever. The staff is eager to help and make you feel very welcoming. The breakfast is quite rich, with a wide range of fresh products.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
