I spent only one night at the Botel Matylda, thus my review is based on little experience. It is centrally located at the Vltava river and is actually a little houseboat (there is an Italian restaurant attached as well). This alone makes the place very unique. You enter the hotel like you enter a boat. Very unique. The room we...

We stayed here for 4 days on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed, it was a very pleasant experience. You would not know that you are on a boat as there is no rocking motion at all. The location is within easy walking distance of all the major sights and the view from the restaurant accross...

Very cute hotel and a unique experience. We had a beautiful view outside our room facing the water, and could see Prague castle in the distance. Rooms on the other side may not have a nice view. The rooms were small but the trade off to sleep on a boat is worth it. Hotel is in a central location and...

We stayed in an executive double room for 4 days and it was a very enjoyable experience. The boat is very well kept and charming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great river views. The service is impecable. Breakfast is served in the boat restaurant next door. Very simple breakfast but enough to start your day. The location of...

Spent 3 nights on the Matylda, and highly recommend it. We had a superior room overlooking the river. The room is a generous size and the bed comfortable. Despite being close to a bridge and a main road the only noise was from the weir. The staff were friendly and helpfull, breakfast was filling. The boat is within a few...

The hotel upgraded us with a superior room at no charge - a little surprise for our arrival! Staff were amazing. This hotel...

I recently went here for a weekend with my boyfriend and i would definitely go back. The experience of staying on a boat was good anyway and to top it off this was a beautiful boat, very clean and with wonderful staff. The buffet breakfast we had was lovely and there was plenty of choice all to a good standard....

High recommended - an unusual hotel located approx 10/15mins walk from all attractions. We booked a Superior room which was exceptionally clean but overlooked bank not river - suggest asking for River side. The reception staff were excellent advising on sightseeing and provising extra pillows etc. The restaurant provides a romantic setting in the adjoining boat - three couse meal...
