The perfect place to stay in Prague, small but perfect. Wonderful location in the Monastery. Easy access by tram and walking distance to Charles Bridge. Staff were always very happy to help. Breakfast was just what you needed, plenty of fresh fruit, bread and hot food. Loved our stay, could not fault

We stayed at the top floor of the Hotel and from a small window of the room, we enjoyed the beautiful view of the Prague Castle. When the sun rose, the picture was just like a classic postcard. We had a great time in the garden also, for the breakfast and afternoon tea. The location is very good and we...

We stayed here for a weekend break and loved the place. It is (as the name suggests) located in Strahov Monastery on the west side of the Vltava River. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and we had a view overlooking the city. The breakfast room is small but the buffet breakfast was of a high quality. All...

The Monastery Hotel was perfect. A wonderful complete breakfast buffet is included. My sister and I stayed in a deluxe room which had a comfortable sleeper sofa downstairs and a queen bed in loft. Stepan went out of his way helping us. We even called him from a bus stop to see if we were getting on the correct bus....

We stayed here during our visit of four nights. Excellent staff Warm and friendly. Breakfasts were great. Quiet and secure. Not that far from the Old Town and very near a tram station. Highly recommended. Be prepared to walk a few flight of stairs though if you are on the third floor as no lifts

We stayed at Hotel Monastery for 3 nights and loved it! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was included in the price was plentiful. The surrounding area was amazing and only an easy stroll directly to Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Prague Castle is about five minutes walk. Three restaurants are immediately within the area. We arrived very late and after using the intercom we were let into the building, our door key was in a silver box to the left of the door. We were in room 12, what a room! High ceilings, huge bed, seating area, loads of storage and a spotless bathroom! Simply stunning, and warm considering the size and the fact...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
