After travelling around Europe for 4 weeks and seeing many glorious places, we were exhausted. We arrived un-announced and without a prior booking. Not only was the divine countryside a relief for weary travellers, but the gratiuos welcome of the wonderful hostess (Mita) who opened her divine home to us was sanctuary! This property has all you could ask for,... More

We were in Village House for a weekend reunion, a group of 6, and enjoyed the tasteful atmosphere of the rooms, common rooms as well as private ones, and the inspiring company of Mita Kanerova, the owner. Unfortunately the weather was cold so we couldn't use the beautiful garden. The place will be especially enjoyable for people who come for... More

My friend and I spent two nights here during a six week trip to central Europe. This was near the end of our trip and we couldn't have found a better place to spend our remaining travel days anywhere. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! The house, in this charming village an hour or less from Prague,... More
