Loved this spot. Nicely arranged airport transfer (from actually the manager), good breakfast, and located right near the Charles Bridge on a quiet street. Very nice staff, clean rooms, and everything perfect for our stay.

Red Chair is a standard Prague hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms and a standard, perfectly acceptable, continental breakfast. It's good that the rooms come with a fridge and a mini-safe, and free, fast Wi-Fi, too. But the main reason to pick this place is that a) it's very central and b) it's very quiet. That's not always an easy...

This little hotel is a modernized 17th century building four blocks from the main square and the Charles Bridge. We had room 32 on the top floor. It was and quiet. We only heard other guests once. The bed was comfortable and large. The breakfast included tasty meats, sausage, granola, yoghurt, coffee, juice. All were good. The real reason to...

Very close to the city center in the Old Town of Prague everything is within walking distance Comfortable clean room, however, there isn't an elevator so if your luggage is heavy it could be a stuggle up the tight staircase. Rooms on the street side are noisy when the windows are open and there's no airconditioning. Rated as a guest...

Convenient hotel. Very close to the city center in the Old Town of Prague. Everything is within walking distance Comfortable enough and reasonable price for the quality of the service. Most of the personnel was helpful and nice, considering that some of the service personnel is not particularly nice in Prague. Do not forget to hang your 'Clean my room'...

The location was perfect for me. Everything was within walking distance. I had a quiet room which was just what I needed. The woman, sorry I didn't get her name, did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable. She went out of her way to get me help during an airline strike. I requested a pick up at the air...

It was very difficult to drive to the hotel, small streets in the old town, many works, ridiculous parking with a daily premium price. The room was old, stale and may be dangerous due to unsecured electrical wires along the walls. No air conditioning but an old 30's fan set on a wardrobe. The delivery men were used to go...

This hotel had everything we needed when travelling with 2 young boys. A cot was set up for my eldest son and my youngest was in our bed. Bath was super handy too. There was a mini fridge, free wifi, free breakfast and parking for €25/day. This seems pricey in comparison to the rate we paid for the room €45/night),...

My mum and me had a great stay at this hotel. As many said before, the location is perfect. Only 5min from the Carls Bridge but the area is fairly quiet. We were greeted by a fantastic host who gave us all the information we needed (and then some) to spend two full days in Prague. The rooms are simple...

Me and my husband stayed there in September for 3 nights and we loved it, perfect location, very affordable and most important- very nice employees - our driver was super friendly and helpful, the girls at the reception were also always ready to help with tips about restaurants, trips etc. We felt at home there, warmest greetings to the whole...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
