I must say my stay was simply wonderful. The hotel is very quiet, well located, conveniently close to tram stop and metro station. The rooms were very nice and always very clean. The breakfast was very good, the staff was just extraordinary, always willing to help, specially Maria, one of the receptionists, who was always very kind to us. If I...

Staff were all friendly, helpful and courteous. Location was excellent, close to trams and the Metro. Tram 22 on the street goes directly to the Castle. Other trams on the street go into the centre of the city very regularly. Hotel was quiet and breakfast was good. Room and bathroom were very spacious. It was a charming, homely place, where...

We were there for a night in spring 2016. Its a small hotel in an area that looks like it had been a monastary. Its a very calm area, yet close to the city and quite near the river. Our room was newly renovated and spacious. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. We ll be back when...

We (family of three) stayed at the hotel for two nights. We found it nice and clean, the staff very friendly. It is near enough to the very centre of Prague that you can leave the car at the (locked!) car park and walk into the city. You do not even have to use the tram (but you could). The...

This place is a former church and therefore it has unique atmosphere. The staff is warm and welcoming, always ready to help. Our room was nice, but the bathroom was tiny and the shower was ridiculously small. On the other side the breakfast was excellent. Everything was fresh, tasty and planty to choose from. We liked there a lot.

Our four nights at this hotel started with a horrible night with trams passing just outside our window, but we felt like the trams passed through the room, so in the morning we asked for another room. Dominik, the man in the reception was very helpful, our thank to him, and arranged another very calm room for us, Room no...

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend in November 2014. The hotel is a few meters away from the collective transport system. The facade isn't really so obvious that it is indeed a hotel. It looked like an old mansion. And that's what I like about it. It's also located in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is friendly and...

I have stayed here for 1 night in January 2015 and I simply loved this hotel. It is located in renovated historical building in the heart of Prague and also in quiet location. Room was very cosy and breakfast rich.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
