The position could seem too far from the center. Well, Prague isn't so big as it seems:in ten minutes you can reach the Venceslas Place. The rooms are big and comfortable, the bathroom is really nice. The breakfast is minimal but tasty. And, last but not least, really clean and in a quiet road, so the quality of rest is...

If you are going to stay at this hotel, just be prepared to be in a very old and old fashioned hotel. It's just a very basic room with zero amenities. I don't understand how this is marked as a 4-star property. Pros: 1. They did not screw up the reservation, even though I was arriving past 10pm on a...

The staff at the hotel are excellent and provided wonderful service and helpful advice, particularly with attractions. Very fast internet. Happily recommend the hotel to others but I would not call it a four star hotel, and you'd want to make sure the price / rate you pay reflects this. A few annoyances: * The room safe is very small;...

I got a night's stay for little less than $60 through Expedia which includes breakfast as well. I don't think the room I had was particularly clean since I found a couple of hairs on a comforter. My rook was relatively quiet. It faced the back of hotel but I heard some people chatting at night and then some humming...

We stayed at the Antik City Hotel for 2 nights on our work-related fetival trip to Prague in June 2015. The hotel is located at the perimeter of the old town. It´s a short walking distance from any major attractions in Prague, the main shopping street and the area is full of restaurants. The hotel has an antic style decor...

Wonderful place to stay for couple days or even for weeks. Close to the city center and beautiful park. Subway and tram stations are near. Large, clean rooms, beautiful interior, friendly employes always ready to help. All of this made my holiday in Prague unforgetable.

Stayed in same room, believe its 207, for two consecutive years. Its great for a single traveler. Most hotels here in america and abroad don't have single rooms and I forced to pay for 2 people.very upsetting. Very good breakfast. Great poached eggs. Dining room staff extremely efficient. Reception staff professional. The thing is, historically, the Chec k people have...

The hotel is very good, the staff is helpfull and friendly. The hotel is located at a small alley which means its peacefull but also very close to the touristic sites. The rooms were cleaned daily and you get good reception of wifi for free in the room.

Stayed here for our 3day City break. The room was spacious, the hotel was cheap (booked through Expedia), staff were friendly (those that we spoke to) and the location is spot on. Only about a 15minute stroll to the old town, and an Albert supermarket 2mins away. Breakfast was decent enough for the two of us to stock up on...

Visited with a group of ladies, had a great visit. This is in an ideal location, very close to the main square, nice bars and restaurants around. I will gladly stay here again. Rooms were clean and in good order, nice tall ceilings.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

“We were in Rm 101, just near the lift. Noisy and concern about street access throught he window (esp. as this is in the redlight/gambling district & we'd seen a coroner's car bagging a body on our 20 minute walk from the bus station. Room is MINISCULE ... 'Circus Circus' or Etap rooms were as big or bigger!?! Pictures in their brochures indicate glamorous 'digs', ours obviously hadn't seen any such 'upgrading'.”
