Located central to shops and Christmas markets, less than a ten minute walk. Staff are very friendly. Hotel itself very clean and our room was very spacious three girls sharing one room with 2 single beds and a put up bed. Very comfortable. Don't forget your English tea bags and you will be fine. Great breakfast selection including a fresh... More

It's a good hire with food services and attentiveness. Are at the restaurant and had a drink at the bar. Both quite good and reasonable. Close to the old town which is convenient. The rooms are clean with coffee/tea makers and hairdryer. Couldn't have asked for more.

On the whole a very pleasant place to stay. Rooms a good size and clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Easy walking access to everywhere. The only recommendations I would suggest is not having to pay for bottled water in the room and when we used items from the mini bar on the first day, they were never re stocked... More

Due to an error the booking was cancelled and my credit card charged...now the hotel is refusing to be of assistance and taking full price over €450 for 2 rooms. I am still travelling to Prague in Jan have paid for 2 rooms and have none.... More

Dear Aoife L, based on my research, this issue was solved to your satisfactory after issue was raised to reservation manager. I understand that such situation while booking non refundable rates can be very stressful, our employees reacted based on standard procedures. Making final decisions and taking compromises are in hand of the manager who managed this while this comment... More

This was in all aspects a good hotel. No complaints. Rooms comfy and modern, good breakfasts, and good location. But it didn't feel five star. You felt like you were staying somewhere clean and modern, but not luxurious. A word of warning. Avoid staying in a room near the elevators. The doors and walls are thin and you can hear... More

Our first room was next to the (very noisy)lift which became active around 06:30. We asked if the sound could be turned off, then asked for another room. They upgraded us to a suite (sweet!). Very quiet! Only weirdness being the bidet having a toilet brush located where my knee wanted to be. Over all an excellent hotel in a... More

We stayed at the Grandior Hotel for four nights earlier this week. It is, as the name and photographs suggest, a grand hotel. I was particularly impressed with the quality of interactions with staff, who were unfailingly courteous, helpful and cheerful. A fine building does not necessarily translate into a good stay, but here all staff are well trained and... More

This hotel is advertised as a 5 star hotel but to me it didn't seem like it. It isn't a bad hotel it just feels more like a 3.5 - 4 star hotel by european standards. The service was good they helped me arrange pick up from the airport very easily the night before. Check in was good and fast.... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
