We stayed here for 3 nights in january and found the hotel to be well located right next to charles bridge. The service was excellent from start to finish and great value for the location. The breakfast was a small selection of meats, bread and yogurts, what you'd expect from a small 3 star hotel. Some reviews have complained about...

I would definitely stay at the U Lillie again. The pension near the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge gives you a historical and authentic Czech flavor. Bathrooms have been updated. Rooms are sparse but comfortable which is really all I needed. If you need bottles of goop in your bathroom, bring your own. Be prepared to climb a winding...

My daughter and I have been taking small groups to Prague once or twice a year for about 10 years. We always stay at Pension U Lilie. They are extremely accommodating no matter what I need for my group. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. The food there is great! The location cannot be better! Some of the...

I´ve visited Prague at the end of September and must say, that i couldn´t chose a better place where to stay. Me and my wife have stayed there 3 nights and both of us were really satisfied. This pension is located exactly in the heart of old town and i guess it is it´s best advantage so as the low...

Stayed for a week on the top floor and enjoyed it -- quiet, clean, comfy bed -- the only requirements I have. LOVED the location -- very nice and accomodating staff and the evening meals were quite tasty when we just wanted to talk and relax with a hot dinner and glass of wine. I would definately return to U...

This pension is greatly located in the Old Town, on a quiet street, 5 minutes from the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. The rooms are comfy and clean and very well heated, the bathroom is bigger that I expected (I had a single room). If you book a room at this pension, don't bring an umbrella, you will find...

My sister and I stayed here for just one night on a quick visit to Prague, but we couldn't have been happier with our choice!!! The location was perfect, 2 seconds off the beaten path [Karlova], where you find all the cheesy tourist souvenir shops, about 3 min. from the beautiful and famous Charles bridge, and maybe 5 min. from...

We've just returned from 3 nights at this hotel. We arrived on the Friday teatime and the very friendly reception staff were expecting us and showed us directly to our room. We were in a double room (#10) on the 2nd floor which you either take the small lift to or the stairs which we preferred. The room was basic...

We walked from the train station to this hotel in about 25 minutes because the taxis in Prague a plagued by a bad reputation. Had it not been for our GPS we would have never found it. It is 5 minutes from one of the main attractions - the Charles Bridge. The pension is in an older (400 years old)...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
