We had a group of eleven family members, staying here at the Hastal for three nights. The staff was extremely accommodating, assisting us with dinner reservations and tourist information--especially Eva and Thomas. The location is perfect for visiting the historic old town, new town and castle districts, as well as the Charles bridge. Rooms are very nice, bathrooms spacious by... More

We had a lovely visit in Prague. Hotel Hastal is centrally located and within walking distance of many attractions. Thomas was great and even arranged our transport from and to the airport. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Hastal is just a 5-minute walk from Old Town Square, and it's just steps away from some of the most popular restaurants in Prague. It isn't fancy, but has comfortable rooms and an appealing old-world atmosphere. Thomas and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood of old town with several good restaurants within skipping distance. their breakfasts are excellent and there is a coffee machine in the lobby where you can tank yourself up on really strong, good coffee. the rooms are comfortable and imaginatively decorated but perhaps the best part for tourists is the staff. Had a really enjoyable stay at this small boutique hotel very close to the central square in Prague, so really well located. Clean and well equipped rooms, albeit slightly small, friendly and helpful service, nice breakfasts...I'll be back.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
