Beta is located in a residential area of Prague 2, near by Vysehrad National Cultural Monument and Prague Congress Centre, close to the city centre. The Pension offers cheap accommodation in 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5-bed rooms with their own or shared bathrooms and WC. In case of shared social facilities there are altogether 3 rooms with 2 bathrooms and 2 WC separated for men and women on the floor. The building is connected well by public transportation which is easy and fast. Take tram no. 24 from Beta Pension and get to Wenceslas Square in 10 minutes. Tram no. 18 will take you to Charles Bridge,Old Town in 11 minutes and 16 minutes to Prague Castle.-The reception desk is open 24 hours a day.-Local taxes, buffet breakfast and WIFI are included in the price.-Luggage storage is free.-Telephone,fax service and safe at the reception desk.-Front desk-City tours.-Free WIFI in rooms.-The safe parking is 200 m far from our pension.-Parking for coaches is 400 m far from the pension.-Cycling track 450 m far.-Discounts for groups, students and members of IYHF.-We provide the chargeable parking . 25 mins away from the city center , very quiet & good location , wide rooms with comfy beds , a nice simple morning breakfast , very helpful friendly staff present 24 hours , a good value for money you will have to step 200 steps to reach the subway station

This hotel is very clean and tidy, easy to get to due to transport being less than 1 minute away (my advice get a transport map just by reception/or use Google maps). The lady who served us very friendly helped teach us some czech phrases and very kind! Check in process a tiny bit slow The rooms are okay in size and very simple but they're tidy, the Bathrooms are good (ensuite were anyway). The main downside was the breakfast quality but for the price well worth a trip for anyone on a budget!

Let me begin by saying read the poor reviews carefully. They seem to be awful people. Their English is fine. The rooms are fine. I booked a single with private bathroom and got a triple with the same. It's a 30-40 min walk to all the things people want to see and a quick 10 min tram ride. The area is busy but the windows, when closed, cancel that out. I can't speak to warmer months but April was fine. I liked the breakfast. It's plain but filling. Many of the negatives I read about this place seemed to be from people that expected 5 star quality from a 30 EURO joint. It's worth it if you like value and service. Plenty of places around to eat and drink, as well.

Arrived via the metro station which is a very steep stepped walk upwards from Beta Pension. Don't let this alarm you as you don't need to use the metro to access the main attractions as the tram stops right outside the accommodation. The young man who greeted us was friendly and helpful as he showed us the best way to get to and from the centre. Beta pension is very close to everything you need and trams and busses come very frequently. Our room was very comfortable and had a really nice bathroom with a good shower. The room is cleaned daily which is very good considering it is budget accommodation. Breakfast is also included in the price which has everything you need to start your day off. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and found everyone very friendly and accommodating. …
