Arco Guesthouse is located close to the city center, yet safe from the tourist traps. There are many small cafes in the area and you will certainly enjoy its neighborhood. The hostel is charming with a designer's touch. Rooms are cozy and well equipped. Its owner, Gunther, is very kind and helpful and you will learn a lot from him...

Arco Guesthouse is a wonderful pension in an emerging neighborhood, away from the throngs of tourists. It's well run, the owners are super flexible (as in, I arrived two days early and they were welcoming and fit me in... I stayed a month and took Guenther up on TWO personal tours of Prague. I can say: Guenter's tours are the...

My adult daughter and I stayed here for a week while visiting a friend and doing some sightseeing on our own. The proprietors of the guesthouse, Guenther and Jan, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful to us and we truly enjoyed our trip more because of it. We did a walking tour of the city with Guenther and he...

We were late getting to ARCO--delayed flight; late car from the airport. But Guenther was waiting for us, keeping the lights on, as welcoming as if he hadn't had to wait until midnight to welcome us. And that set the tone: the room was just what we needed (comfortable, clean, quiet); the location is perfect--outside the crush of Old Town,...

This accomodation was the best choice we could do. The host is very kind and very helpful in any aspect - he even provided a baby bed for my friend's daughter although he did not have one before. The rooms are nice, reasonably furnished and quiet. We are very much looking forward to coming back!

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
