Be enchanted by authentic wooden ceilings and fresco wall paintings. Nestled in the heart of Prague is a family-run boutique hotel, situated in a historical house that was the last home of the architect Santini. Nerudova 211 is a baroque house in Malá Strana – Prague’s most exclusive area. The building acquired its baroque shape when it was owned by a famous architect, Jan Blažej Santini. This boutique hotel will impress you with its authentic wooden ceilings, rib vaults, and all fresco paintings in elegant suites. Nerudova street in Malá Strana (Little Quarter) is named after the famous Czech writer and poet Jan Neruda, who lived there (one of his well-known books is called Tales from the Little Quarter, copy of which can be found in each suite). This street is part of the Royal Route of Prague. Prague Castle is about 5 minutes by walk, and Charles Bridge and Old Town Square are also within walking distance. Malá Strana is a very picturesque neighborhood with many restaurants and cafés, an ideal place to explore Prague. Guests are made to feel welcome, whether they choose a standard room or Presidential Suite. The suites, from 30 to 90 square meters in size, are furnished with great respect for the history and tranquility of this place, but at the same time provide modern features. Each of the 10 suites is furnished individually and eclectically with family treasures and finds from antique stores. The granite and marble bathrooms are all equipped with a bathtub or shower, as well as a range of traditional Czech cosmetic products by Manufaktura.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in, what a wonderful little gem of a place! Along a cobbled street, it has been refurbished to a really high standard, beautiful painted ceilings in the traditional style, comfortable beds and immaculate rooms, and carefully thought out spaces in the lobby and the cafe. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, the cafe is great, with a backlit bar that makes the space, and the location is super. We had such a lovely time here, thank you Hotel Nerudova 211!

This is one of the most wonderful hotel experiences we've ever had! What a lovely boutique hotel that has original works from the architect Santini. The beds were so comfortable, made up with comfortable bedding, the bathrooms were a good size with luxurious toiletries, and the No 211 Cafe - wow! Morning breakfast was scrumptious! And the staff - so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We would most definitely stay there again! Thank you for such great hospitality!

Gorgeous boutique hotel with superior service from all the staff including the owners. Can't say enough. If you are looking for conventional 5 star - this is different. It is a first name hotel; very friendly and they all go out of their way to do everything to make your stay and your trip excellent. The hotel itself is a restored old building and the interior is the most beautiful site I saw in my trip. They do not have room service but they arrange delivery from restaurants and deliver to your room. The only misleading part is that they should be charging more for the experience . I hope they will because they deserve it.

I took a chance booking newly renovated Hotel Nerudova 211 after noticing the many glowing reviews it's gotten on different Web sites. I'm so glad I took the plunge, because Hotel Nerudova 211 turned out to be a real gem. From the moment I booked until we checked out, we got excellent service, starting with a prompt email from the property explaining the parking situation there. Since we drove our car, that was definitely a concern, but we didn't have to worry at all. We drove right up to the door and the hotel's owner parked the car for us and helped us with our bags!

We stayed in a gorgeous suite with it's own private winter garden. The room was stocked with Czech whiskey and a fridge with complimentary water and soda. I booked breakfast with our room and it was a true delight. Not only was the breakfast on both mornings delicious and filling, but it was also beautifully presented.

Hotel Nerudova 211 is located in a very convenient place, with easy access to the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, and several good restaurants and shops (not that there is a shortage of those in Prague).

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique boutique hotel in Prague. It really offers a personal touch. The owners care and are always available. They really impressed us. I hope we can return, because we didn't get to see nearly enough of the city!

This is truly special place to stay. The owner, Jan, and assistant, Dominik were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that each guest was treated with utmost care. The room was delightful as was the entire interior. Their efforts to ensure all needs were met was unsurpassed. We have traveled all over the world and can say this was one of our favorite places we have stayed and we have stayed in much more deluxe expensive places. We recommend this delightful hotel to anyone who visits Prague and wants to have a special place to stay in an outstanding location. We will definitely return!

Jan and Sarah own this beautiful, boutique hotel in the heart of Prague. You can easily walk for days at a time and find something new! Their hospitality was truly remarkable and they made us feel so welcome! The staff in the cafe 211 (built within the property) was the perfect way to start the day with a triple espresso! The staff all spoke excellent English and were super-friendly and helpful! This hotel should not be missed! We will definitely come back someday!

Beautiful historical small Hotel in one of the nicest, but calm, street of the center of Prague. And super friendly and professional staff. The only minor point was the lack of Airco in the room. But for the rest it was excellent and we will definitely come back, and suggest this hotel to all our friends and family (and you TripAdvisor reader). A must!

Where to start. Stayed for 6 nights with my 12 yr old son in the attic room (size of small apartment). I live in the USA and frequent world traveler. Where I stay is equally as important as the destination. Location, cleanliness & comfort is a priority.

Hotel Nerudova 211 offers low rates which made me skeptical. But has 5-star glowing reviews on all sites. So, I gave it a shot & so glad I did.

Location - my uber driver said it’s the nicest street in Prague. The street is lined with small cafes, a pharmacy, chocolate, antique, perfumery & souvenir shops. I liked the “curiomat” local artist collective store. Walk to the Kostel SV Mikulase church in 2 minutes, busy shopping area & Charles Bridge in ~5 to 8 minutes, John Lennon wall & Artemis shop not far either. So many places to explore that even my son stayed entertained.

Hotel - Beautiful & elegant. Meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. It was recently renovated so new without compromising its heritage. Plenty of windows with views of rooftops & distant cathedral. We used the stairs but there is an elevator in this 4-story hotel.

Room - we stayed in the unique Attic Room (apartment). A staircase greets you upon entry with bathroom to the right. Up the stairs you’ll find a foyer with small refrigerator, dishes, liquor with glasses, kettle, etc. Two rooms - one on each side both with Netflix tv and soft beds with plenty of pillows, two duvets each, rolling racks, writing table with upholstered chairs and bench area. Unlike the other rooms, our ceiling was not flat with exposed beautiful wood beams (original). I did hit my head once when acting silly but not again. I think an older couple should stay in the other rooms especially because of the stairs to restroom. My son said it was the coolest hotel room he’s ever stayed in - which was the point.

Cafe - within hotel has the best coffee, pastries & sandwiches with fresh homemade bread. My son asked for extra bread to take back to the USA. Staff is friendly & ready to be at your service.

Staff - maybe the most helpful & friendly I’ve experienced in a hotel or resort. They are beyond 5-stars and in a class of their own. Reception had suggestions for activities, helped us book tickets to a basketball game. Even the night manager is wonderful and daily housekeeping is superb. They arranged our car to/from hotel, tracked my flight (canceled & re-routed) and knew who to call about my lost bags :( We traveled during a strike at the airport… They also cleaned laundry and provided us with plenty of water -all complimentary.

I would never dream of staying anywhere else. Love this beautiful boutique hotel & so happy I found it!

- Amber & gage
