This was the first hostel that I stayed at when traveling alone and my experience was incredible. The price was very inexpensive especially for the location (really close to center, 10 min walk). The service and people working there were amazing! They had FREE breakfast which I did not expect. Also there was an option to eat the family dinner...

I had *such* a good experience staying at the Art Hole Hostel. The hostel was clean and spacious. Fresh towels, the use of a hairdryer and kitchen facilities were free of charge. Above all, the hostel had a really friendly and social vibe...I stayed here for 5 days while traveling alone, and each day, I met cool new people with...

I had a blast in this hostel, such fun. Met some amazing people. The staff were absolutely great and joined in in the fun. Shout outs to Lola!! One of the best nights of my life. It's got a real family kind of atmosphere in Art Hole, easy to make friends, and a good location.

The hostel was in the perfect location next to the city center, the facilities were very clean and comfortable, and the art all over the walls was gorgeous! Everyone we met, either at reception or fellow visitors, was incredibly welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a budget hostel with a friendly vibe.

Super cool pop art deco, nice shared rooms. I had a little trouble having shower, wish I had more space and privacy. Staff were helpful, good location - little walk from the main attractions. It was a nice experience I had with my friends, recommended!

I travelled alone to Prague in December 2016. I stayed in Art Hole Hostel and had a wonderful experience! Reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities were very clean and nice. This is by far the best hostel I have stayed in ever!! It feels homely and cozy. The rooms are rather spacious. They have several floors. Each floor has a bathroom & kitchen. It feels like an university dorm. They have lockers and you do not have to comply your own lock. The bathroom and showers are clean. They have...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
