I had one of my best hostel experiences at Sir Toby's, and at the same time it is one of the cheapest hostels I have ever been. Beautiful rooms with antique-style furniture, an Idyllic garden and super-friendly staff who speak English perfectly.
I stayed in the 6 person dorm for a night which was nice being all cots and no bunkbeds. I then switched into the 12 person dorm which was bunks and had one shared bathroom for the 2 room (24 ppl). After I stayed in a private which was very small and the room was laid out so the two single beds could not be pushed together! I met some cool guests on the Friday but the rest of the days the place was empty. Also like all of Prague it is overpriced.
Very nice atmosphere for meeting other travellers. A cosy garden during the day and an awesome bar for the nights were there was always someone hanging out. Friendly and helpfull staff. I lost my phone and they did everything they could to help me out. Would recommend as a solo traveller.
Although the website says that in the shared rooms beds will be blocked off to make more space this wasn't the case in the room I stayed in. And in the room there was a card saying that due to the pandemic the room won't be fully occupied it was. As there is a pandemic i would have expected them to follow their own guidelines and what they advertise on their website and booking websites.
Sir Toby's exceeded my expectations! We received friendly and helpful service at the front desk from the moment we arrived. Our room (double room with ensuite bathroom) was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. The location is good, well situated between all of the big sites.
