The hotel is situated centrally in Prague. Rooms are plenty big, the staff is friendly and the rooms are well maintained albeit not exactly new. Breakfast is in the Imperial Cafe next door and quite good. Make sure to make a reservation if you want to dine in the Imperial Cafe as it is often fully booked. We had a...

Have just spent the final night staying in this beautiful hotel. Our room was quite small but very clean, comfortable and full of Art Deco character. The bathroom was stunning too with L'occitane toiletries provided. We didn't eat a meal at the restaurant as there was nothing there to tempt us but we did have amazing coffee and cakes in...

We stayed at the Imperial for 5 nights of our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time in Prague and the hotel was an ideal base for sightseeing. Beautiful hotel in an awesome location in Prague. Everywhere is within reasonable walking distance with the main station about a twenty minute walk away. Great breakfast. More than you can eat. Amazing coffee and a pot of it too! Would definitely recommend and go back. Only slight downside is the bathtub. Shower is over the bath. In the room we...

Fantastic hotel in a great central location ideal to see all the sights in Prague. Exceptional staff, very polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are first class, clean, very comfortable beds and with everything you need on a short break. Highly recommended.

Stayed for three nights in March and we found the hotel everything we expected. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Especially the man on the door who helped my friend find her phone! Beautiful decor throughout. Stayed in a suite which wasn't much bigger than a deluxe room but was still stunning and worth the extra money. The trams...

We booked the Art Deco Imperial through Expedia. Having reviewed the online photos of rooms, we chose the Executive Double Room. The hotel offers a pick up service but we booked collection through Prague Airport Transfers which was very reasonable. Arrived at the hotel shortly before 3 pm and checked in very quickly. We were asked if we could wait...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
