OK, I’ll start by saying this is a splendid hotel and I would have no hesitation in going back. They were responsive by email to confirm details. The pickup and return by Mercedes were well worth the money – there is a deal for both ways. The room had everything you could possibly need for a stay away and was...

Dear Kevin, first of all we are very grateful for your nice feedback about our hotel. Thank you for the nice comment about our room and housekeeping and the location. Regarding the temperature it is a pitty that we could not speak each other or you did not ask on the reception, because for this we have a technician and he...

I stayed here with my daughter and having read previous reviews had high expectations. I had e mailed and phoned prior to our visit to ask for a room facing the front of the hotel so I wasn't happy to find we were allocated room 518 which was at the back and facing a brick wall! I asked if we...

Perfectly placed for getting around Prague, especially the Old Town. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms comfortable and very clean. We even had a bottle of wine in our room on arrival as it was our Wedding Anniversary, nice touch. If your light sleeper I would request a room facing the court yard on a higher floor as the trams start...

Had 3 nights in hotel. Easy and pleasant check in. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned each day. Breakfast was good and bar was open when needed. The hotel is well situated for the old town, with the Old Town square a 10 minute walk and Wenceslas a similar 10 minutes. The Hilton Cloud 9 bar is a 5 minute walk...

We stayed here for 3 nights and our stay was most excellent. Our room was on the 3rd floor and initially we were a little worried if it was going to be noisy, but sound-proofing really works and I slept like a log! We loved the high ceilings and the room decor was very luxurious, with a definite art deco...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
