A Hotel with Music.... My girlfriend booked this hotel for our 3 day travel to Prague as she found it on the net. The part that was intriguing to her was the music theme. This theme is all the way through the hotel which is amazing. Nicely decorated, each floor being a single music area, like Jazz, classic, etc. Each...

We did not plan to stay in this hotel. We ended up here just because of an overbooking of another property. As it turned out, we were very lucky. This hotel is rated as one of the best in Prague. I have to admit that it's very good. I think it has everything a 5-star hotel should have, plus something...

My husband and I spent our 25th anniversary at the Aria Hotel. Prague may be a romantic city, but the Aria has to be one of the most romantic hotels in the world. The service was exceptional from the moment we passed through immigration. The driver was there with a sign waiting to greet us and take us on our...

Mrs L's birthday so we went to Prague for the weekend to celebrate. We stayed in what must be one of the best hotels in the world 'The Aria.' the hotel has a musical theme and every room is named after a famous composer or performer. Ex President Clinton stayed last summer when on a visit to Prague. We had...

Check in is simple, the rooms are nice, comfortable and large, the bathroom is great, strong shower, the hotel offers free wifi within the room (awesome), and should be offered in all hotels. The location is within easy walking distance of all the major attractions. I would stay here again, without any hesitation. The hotel has a music theme to...

It's not often I stay in boutique hotels but if more of them were like the Aria I would. Helpful staff, stunning grounds and just one of those hotels that makes you feel good when you are a guest. Staying here on holidays in the heart of Prague simply adds to any amazing holiday. If you can afford the extra...

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. My wife and I were engaged in Prague on this trip, and the staff at the Aria hotel, and in particular, Henry, went to a world of trouble to make the evening perfect for us. As Henry and his staff were in on the whole thing, airport transfer in a...

Although we traveled back a few years, we loved this hotel. We went on our honeymoon and the attention to detail and intimate feel of the hotel was perfect, warm and inviting. It is really well done with the musical themes and has beautiful grounds to explore. It is in the best part of the city too. The concierge was...

I can't add much to earlier review except to say we are very pleased with our stay here. My husband was attending a 22 person business event on site for several days, and everything was handled very well and professionally from his perspective. The staff is faultlessly polite, warm, and helpful. Our room is not huge but perfectly equipped, housekeeping...

We arranged for hotel to pick us up at airport, no problems making connection with driver. We arrove early at the hotel (9:30 AM) and of course, our suite was not ready. No problem, they put...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
