Hotel and rooms are really nice with a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast included was amazing with lots of choice. Joesf was so friendly and made our experience much better by showing our group the best places to go.
Lovely hotel with a really nice breakfast included. The room was really spacious and clean too. Josef was extremely helpful and gave us an amazing experience!! really friendly atmosphere and would definitely go again!!
Our first impressions were a disappointment for us as we arrived early evening and the whole hotel was basically in darkness, nothing like the impressive online picture of the front of the hotel all lit up. But once inside we were met by the friendly and helpful staff, and the feel of grandeur to the layout and decor. We were given a room on the 4th floor facing out to the main street, not a spectacular view but it suited us. The room it self was large, clean and nicely warm as it was freezing outside, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect with a bath tub for the wife and a cracking shower that suited me fine. The bar/restaurant had shut early on the night we arrived, but we just managed to get a beer but no food. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a full choice of hot and cold food, you could not want for more with the staff constantly restocking the items, there was also help yourself to coffee machines (top notch) Latte. The one complaint was the stupid rack type toaster these seem to be the same where ever you go in the world, it's like watching paint dry as it goes through once and its hardly toasted so you put it through again and it comes out burnt. All in I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again, as for Prague it is a beautiful and historic place to visit…
Impresive building. Very good location. Tram stop very close( No18 going straight to the center of the city). Quite good breakfast with a big variety of things to choose from. I would stay there again.
Night Front Desk who work during 23-25 Dec 2022 is unprofessional with bad attitude and should not be working in hospitality at all. One night my husband went to Front Dest at 22.30 asked where he can buy bottles of water as hotel gave the information about bar closed at midnight, unfortunately the bar was closed earlier that night and he could not buy any water. Its only reason he went to Front Desk just to ask where to buy water. The guy told my husband that bar already closed as it was festive and we should be shamed to ask for service on that night, why dont just to drink ‘tab water’ Hotel should improve staff service if cannot change people attitude, I believe that all hotels around the world always the “good attitude to provide standard service”
The hotel made our trip to Prague amazing! When we first arrived we were given a free upgrade of our room which was more than appreciated! The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay! We used public transport throughout and the bus stop was a 4 minute walk away from the hotel! The bed was super comfy, the room was huge and the breakfast had such a variety and was always tasty! The only negative thing was our bathroom was a wet room and we had to hold our own shower head up but we made do because of the upgrade! The bar was great and the little shop was a cute touch too! Would definitely recommend and would stay here if we were to return!
This hotel was an unexpected gem! Spacious rooms (not your typical small European room), great bar and lounge area along with a phenomenal breakfast spread. Cannot speak high enough of the amazing breakfast choices from 3 types of sausage to fantastic cheeses, breads, yogurt toppings, crepes and coffees and teas. The extra efforts the hotel staff put forth did not go unnoticed. We had drain issues in our shower and they had it fixed along with new towels within 1/2 hour. The concierge, Josef, advised us on the local tours and sites which resulted in our BEST day in Prague. Highly recommend this hotel!
Ideal location, only a few stops on the tram to the “Old Town” you’ll need to get on tram 18. Quite location, the hotel itself is lovely and clean. The staff speak excellent English, we was made to feel welcome, the food was lovely and cheaply priced, a couple of items on the menu I didn’t like, so the meal was adapted to suit my taste, it wasn’t any bother at all. Breakfast caters for all, and was always warm and plenty of choice. The beer was also nice and also cheaply priced, noting is too much trouble for the staff working in the restaurant. The rooms was spacious, and warm. It was cleaned everyday which included towel changes. The bed was uncomfortable, but we did manage to sleep okay. The pillows could do with being replaced, as they were rather flat. We did ask for an extra couple of pillows on the first morning, and they were with us by the end of the day. Josef the customer relations man, well what can I say? He’s an absolute credit to the hotel, nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He is such a kind, gentle man, he greats you everyday with a warm smile and always takes time to speak to you. He as all the knowledge of the local area, and is happy to suggest places to visit or to dine at. He deserves all the recognition that is possible, he truly is a gentleman and it is obvious he loves his job and enjoys providing the hotel guests with his knowledge and also his kindness. We hope you enjoy your Champagne, and Merry Christmas (we will see you next year). The Wi-Fi within the hotel is free to use and as excellent connection. Check in was quick and easy. Overall we would recommend to others, and will definitely return in the future.…
Hotel is clean, breakfast is good and beds comfortable. In our bathroom the shower did not function quite as well as it should have - it was a bit difficult to change from the tap to the shower head and it took quite a long time to get warm water. The night traffic noise from the street was clearly heard in the room. Staff is friendly and effective. Especially the concierge seemed to love his job and did more than we ever could have expected.
Prague is my favourite city and this hotel is my choice whenever I visit Prague. This time I was travelling alone and stayed for four nights in a business room. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfy and pillows nice. It was nice that the lobby bar was open again! Honza was very nice and gave personal, warm service even though sometimes it was busy. Thank you so much. And Josef, the man behind the desk is always there with a smile and warm welcome and full of ideas of what to do and where to go and explore Prague. Thank you once again for everything. And see you in May!
