Good location and pretty cheap. Nice view also. But... The staff just doesn't know how to smile or how to act with their guest. They also asked me to move the car because I parked near the entrance were it was supposed to be a place reserved for taxi, but I didn't find any sign for this. The sheets were...

We stayed there just for a night but till the time we went there we wouldn't hav realised tat it could be soo beautiful. The room was just fabulous, me and my husband loved the stay. Positives. Good location on the river near the old town and boat trips. Food from the menu was good and cheap. Negatives: The rooms were in desperate need of repair and very run down. The breakfast was amongst the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. Not even a boiled egg was produced, the juice was just coloured water, the place...

i stayed at the Botel Albatros in the summer of 2015 and I must say the staff was so kind, the experience of staying and sleeping on a boat was so different!! The location is perfect and everything was overall excellent!! The breakfast was simple and very European enough to fill you up for the entire stay :)!!

Was very impressed, expected a lot worse from reading previous reviews. Room though small was clean, great WiFi, tv and hot shower. Breakfast with cold meats, cheese, breads, hot sausage, eggs, cereal, yogurts and fresh fruit. All staff friendly, helpful and it's a great location- walked everywhere. For the price we paid it was a bargain and we got to...

Rooms are small but quirky. Family run hotel very close to the centre. It's a moored up riverboat - don't expect huge bathrooms. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. I'd certainly recommend staying here, especially at the price!

We stayed at botel albatros last week. The room was small as a expected but the shower was minuscule with dirty tiles and webs. No internet connexion in the room or restaurant limited to the lobby. We stayed for three nights and I have to say that the staff in the restaurant were lovely. Very kind and friendly however very...

Nice little botel. Nice view water side. Good location not to far out. Small breakfast area couldn't get a seat so never ate. Reception were really rude and couldn't really get any conversation from them. Security were the same. Quite ignorant. Silver fish in the bathroom. All over the shower.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
