Therefore it represents true Prague Town life with all the historical elements. The Czech architects have kept the character of the Old Town building by setting the rooms around the inner garden courtyard with labyrinthine restaurant extending along the ground floor and Gothic cellars.Direct access on foot to all the major parts of magic Prague together with the quality services offered by the hotel create an easygoing stay for both business and leisure travellers.Hotel Salvator is located directly in the historical city centre in quiet Truhlarska Street, which leads to Namesti Republiky (Republic Square). There are important historical monuments at Namesti Republiky; the Powder Tower (Medieval Gates to Prague’s Old Town) and the Municipal House (Art Nouveau Gallery House) from the balcony of which the independence of Czechoslovakia was announced in October of 1918.With the new spirit of the developers of the 21st century Prague’s biggest shopping mall “Palladium” opened in the neighbourhood of the hotel.

Nové Město (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

We enjoyed staying at Salvator. The room was quite spacious and clean. It was also super warm (we were staying in January) - to the point that we even opened windows to let some cold air in. Beds were super comfortable! Metro is literally 3 mins away on foot. Staff speak good

We had a great stay at Hotel Salvator. I booked this based on it's proximity to all the sights, it's trip advisor reviews, and cost. It's an older hotel, but that gives it some charm. We stayed in a quad room on the 4th floor, with windows facing the inner courtyard. Our room

Hi It depends which railway station. Praha Hlavní Nádraží, Wilsonova 300/8, is easily walkable (14 minutes). Praha - Holešovice is about 30 minutes walking: I've done it easily with a backpack, but a suitcase would (literally) be a drag. So: depending on the station, walk or public transport/taxi.
