Our stay was terrible- unfriendly staff totally unprofessional and careless of the reception, poor and disgusting food (they served already bitten apples and then even forgot about the vegetarian meals we had ordered for 3 nights), dirty rooms (stains on the towels, condoms on the floor). We were also robbed of our complete luggage in our room during an evening,...

The first night in the first room, was a disaster, ground floor, no sound isolation and very small toilet with malfunctions everywhere. In the others night we change room and was a better. The staff is very helpful, they change the room after the first complain, and help a lot to recover my luggage, that was lost in the trip....

We spent 11 nights in june 2016 not knowing there was fire station on front of the hotel and one of the main streets :D The noise was unbearable especially during late nights and early mornings. Also the downstairs hammering prevented any sleeping during day times. Location was good with transportation and center of the city was near. Beer museum...

Cheap as chips central location just off Newtown square. 45 by public transport from the airport. Great location for all. You get what you pay for, basic standard room up the stairs in an attic style loft. Free Wifi worked all week which was great! (Beware of dodgey springs in matresses) We could fault it if we paid more but...

The staff were liars and the hotel was overbooked when we arrived very late from our late flight so we were sent back up the road and round the corner to another hotel which was cold and had cigarette burns on the bed. We were offered complimentary breakfast which was croissants or toast but my boyfriend doesn't eat either so...

For the price I paid for the hotel I really didn't expect much at all but I must say the location was ideal and the room was fine. My only issue was the fact that I had to hold the shower head up myself in order to have a shower but again for the price I paid it was a...

I've never given a poor review of a hotel. I always try to find a positive. The way we were treated in this hotel was shocking. Anyone who is thinking of booking here...I would be wary. They take your payment through booking.com before you arrive so you've prepaid. We arrived to say that 'there was a problem with the system,...

Just came back from a visit. Slept 3 nights with my mum for €98,- total for the two of us (49,- pp/3nights). Room was spacious, had a double bed and a single bed (we only requested 1 bed). Had a very large bathroom with toilet and shower. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. I will definitely stay here again!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
