We have just arrived home after a 3night stay at the Atlantic Hotel. Although it was basic, it was very clean. The location was very good, near the Metro & within walking distance of Charles Bridge, took about 20 minutes and the famous square where the Ecological clock was. The reception staff were very helpful. We booked our trip from...

We stayed in the Atlantic as part of a package deal we got, and it was very good value. The location is perfect for visiting the main tourist sights and the massive shopping centre next door is an added bonus if you have half an hour to kill. Our room was a huge family room, even though it was just...

Located not far away from regional bus station . Rooms are simple but not bad. Everything that is necessary is there. Quite a few places to eat out around. Not a historical city center but OK to stroll around in the evening or during the day Great price for the value.

Stayed here for a few nights over Christmas, room was comfortable, clean and tidy, and always warm. The staff where all very helpful, attentive and very polite. The hotel is in a great location, just a hundred yards(meters) from the shopping centre, and only 5minutes from the old town square. Trams do trundle down the street, so you can easily...

We stayed for 2 nights & were happy with the hotel & its facilities. Centrally located & within walking distance of most places. The staff of the hotel are wonderful & very helpful. I would probably not suggest a room on the first floor facing the street as it's a bit noisy but it didn't bother us too much. The...

Very nice place, close to the city center. Good meal, cosy beds, central heating. Room was not enough clean. Dirty ventilating hole and dirty socks of someone in the nightstand. I would come here againe inspite of this.

This hotel was very well placed in the centre of Prague, easy walking distance from most of the city attractions. Had all you would need, rooms nice and roomy. Missed not having tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was a bit basic but plentiful, and there was a queue for a little toaster for the number of guests. Would...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
