My wife and I had a great 4 day stay at this hotel. Real nice room with probably the best location at the quiet end of Charles Bridge. We loved the rooftop private area for our afternoon wine and charcuterie. The staff was exceptional.

We stayed in the Pod Vezi Dependance (across the street from the main hotel). It was a lovely room, airconditioned with a helpful and attentive staff. You can't get a better location and the cost was very reasonable

Have just returned from a great trip to Prague made perfect by our stay at this wonderful hotel. The hotel is in a great spot just by the Charles bridge and its an easy stroll to the main sights across the city. We stayed in the main building in a classic twin room on the third floor with views over...

Can't imagine coming to Prague and staying at a better hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and went through the city map with us. Location is unbelievable... Literally at the end of the Charles bridge. Breakfast included, champagne for our honeymoon. Free pass to the top of the tower overlooking the Charles bridge. Rooms completely clean. Actually loved this side of...

You arrive at the hotel with little idea of the hotel being there. It is right off the Charles bridge. The staff was friendly and helpful(our baggage did not arrive for two days). The room was very large, the breakfast were excellent, and the roof a pleasant interlude in the city. I fell guilty not giving it another star. Why,...

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 night stay in Prague at the Pod Vezi. We can confirm all the goods things written by most of the other reviewers. The location is great, just beyond one end of the Charles Bridge, but in a quiet pedestrianised area. We stayed in a Deluxe room, number 12, in the...

We spent 3 nights in the suite. Very nice room, brilliant location adjacent to Charles Bridge on quieter side of river, excellent restaurant including breakfast. Above all staff were outstanding, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended

Prime Location at Charles Bridge end. Huge room and pretty good restaurant on the lobby, nice to have a dinner outside. Lots of people around but no problems resting at night. Staff was great, good service and attention, they were always ready to give a hand or recommend places to explore.

A charming hotel in a suberb location! We loved our short stay and were so pleased with our choice, which I felt was excellent value for money. The welcome we received was very friendly, in fact every time we passed Reception we received a cheerful greeting. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and peaceful. Spotlessly clean and we appreciated the...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
