This has been my 3rd short stay in this hotel in 1 year. The location of the hotel is superb.. right at the tower of the bridge (castle side). We had room 24 this time which was enormous. Immaculately clean (as all the rooms are). We arrived early on Wednesday 12th April during the breakfast rush and reception was very...

Lovely hotel, with efficient very helpful staff. Had a huge attic room in the Dependance annex which was great. First night dinner was excellent, high quality beautifully presented Czech style food. Buffet breakfasts very good and set us up for long days of walking and exploring this great city.. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I were walking in Prague, coming down from the Castle, when we found this spot and we sat down for a hot chocolate in the outdoor tables. The hot chocolate was fine without it being outstanding (but it is hard to impress a Spaniard with a chocolate!). the chocolate had the effect of a appetizer and we...

This is a long overdue review as we stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in early 2016 and have been meaning to do this since. Location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring the city, from right beside the Charles Bridge. Friendliness, hospitality and cleanliness stood out as highlights of this gem of a hotel. The staff couldn't...

Was expecting the hotel experience to be great given the positive reviews and was not disappointed. Traveled with my daughter, and from the moment we checked in until we left, was a stellar trip. Check in was quick, informative and professional. Lunched at the restaurant upon arrival and got great food recommendations ( the rabbit was delicious). Breakfast was simple...

Everyone at the hotel was amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful -- nicely appointed, quiet, and clean. The location was incredible - very central to everything! Lastly, the restaurant was fantastic - great quality food at very reasonable prices. Will definitely stay here again when in Prague.

Always a few trepidations when you book somewhere new but we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. Great value for money, superb location and really friendly staff. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this to friends and family. And we'd use it again too.

We stayed in the annex building in a lovely room with great facilities. It was quiet, clean and a perfect spot from where to base our city explorations. The free wifi was quick and stable. The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the Charles Bridge in Lesser Town. The restaurants are both excellent. Breakfasts were decent though not...

Spent a long weekend here in April 2017, hotel was great located at one end of the Charles Bridge. This was close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see whilst far away from town centre to avoid the crowds/stag parties. We opted for a Deluxe Double room and what we got would have been considered a suite in...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
