Good and budget option for solo travelers. Clean and silent but needs renovation. Location is isolated, but is good for students. Nice and friendly staff. Dont expect luxury while staying here. Easily reachable by tram

When I first arrive, I think it's the creepiest hostel I've ever lived, but inside, it's very calm and you've got everything you need -- kitchen, refrigerator, wifi etc. I've stayed here for 3 nights and I really enjoy it. Very convenient for getting around, 'cause it's right in the city center! (and it's not cold in the hostel in...

Great location and cheap accomodation but that's it. It's clean but everything is old and needs renovation. Very loud ( not only due to students but also to the fact that walls are thin and doors are not isolated). also very bad matresses. Must be quite cold in winter. One good thing is roof terasse. Oh and also nice staff....

It is good option for budget travelers. This hostel offered rooms in dormitory. Conditions are very basic, hostel is crowded but clean. Prices are cheap, as I remember include breakfast. Location isn't the best but you can easily reach hostel by tram.

i and a friend were in sokol for 5 nights, twice broken into, much stuff stolen, no support for staff, who refused to believe us till third breakin in another dorm. Staff unfriendly, looks like old communist hotel, would be in good location but strange un-hostel energy. Lots of stairs. (ok for us)

We stayed here for three nights during a student conference. The location was fantastic - just meters from the island Kampa, a beautiful park, a small square leading up the stairs to Charles´ bridge. Although the accomodation was very basic, I really liked the showers, nice and clean. On one wall there hanged a big map of Prague with a...

I stayed at the hostel for three nights. the location is brilliant and close to all amenities and tourists sites. the staff were helpful and the vending machine for drinks was a extra treat, especially considering the food prices in Europe. I would recommend the hostel anytime and perhaps return there some day. Keep the spirit of Sokol alive!!!

This place is in an amazing location on the 'other side' of Charles Bridge. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the bridge through a beautiful park and cobbled streets in a really pretty part of Prague. It is away from the crazy tourist hoards that are typical of the old city centre. The hostel is also pretty basic. I...

We stayed here for one night only during a backpacking trip. We absolutely loved Prague and I think the location of this hostel is part of the reason for this. It's in Mala Strana, the nicest - in my opinion - part of Prague. It's just over the river from the old town and it's where all the embassies are...
