We stayed at this hotel in the middle of March. We walked to here from the train station. The streets were busy so took about 40 minutes to walk. On the way out when it wasn't busy took about 30 minutes. First of all great location. Right by the St Charles Bridge, but on a nice quiet street. So noise...

Perfect location within walking distance of all the tourist attractions and situated right on the river. Friendly, helpful staff and large, clean, comfortable rooms, with a good variety of choice at breakfast. It would be difficult to think of a reason not to stay here.

Ideally located just by Charles Bridge yet on a peaceful small square next to a riverside park. We stayed in a large wood beamed attic room with magically beautiful views of the river, bridge and Old Town skyline. The staff were both efficient and friendly. Jan and the team took trouble to make our 5 night stay memorable and enjoyable.

The hotel is charming with the courtyard, bridge, and shops nearby. The rooms were unique in that they had what looked like original wood floors & windows. I was somewhat disappointed in the electrical outlets as we only found one to use and then needed a converter. You will need a converter for all of your electrical needs if coming...

Dear Guest, thank you very much for your valuable comment. We are delighted to hear you liked our cosy hotel. I am sorry you had difficulties with the electrical outlets - the converter is needed in the whole Europe for the US devices . Unfortunately the washcloths are not standard in our hotel. I hope these things didn´t spoil you...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
