Very bad cleaning services. One day of our stay they simply forgot to clean (we came tired after a day full of travelling and were dissatisfied to the room that was not cleaned). Many many dust above the moldings, a lot of dirt which was not cleaned for months - really not accurate cleaning. Everything is additionally paid and very expensive: parking (when it was booked at Booking.com, parking was declared as a free service for hotel guests) 750 CZK per day, breakfast 660 CZK per person, Wifi is paid service (don't remember the exact price, but it is unlogically expensive), to empty the minibar (i.e. to use a fridge) is a paid service - TOO GREEDY HOTEL!!! Hotel stuff is snobistic and unpleasant. Soundproofing of the rooms is not that good. Overall - VERY DISSAPOINTING, a real shame for Hilton Hotels Chain. P.S. We came to Prague to arrange our wedding. Morning of our wedding day we were running on and off dressed with our wedding suits, it was very hard not to mention a marrying couple in the lobby. But no one from Hilton staff related to us, no one said anything. Many hotel guests congratulated us saying kind thing in all possible languages, but not the hotel personnel. It seems that in Hilton Prague wedding of the hotel guests it is not something special, just a routine. Just for comparison - my friends also married in Prague few months ago, stayed in one of the hotels in the city center. The hotel manager came to congratulate them personally and provided a compliment from the hotel - a bottle of champagne and some sweets. But in Hilton Prague they do not care about these things, they only care about charging additional payments for expensive services.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed here just before a viking cruise as part of a pre-cruise extension. Typical Hilton in terms of nice rooms, public areas and dining options. Has an immaculate appearance with an impressive skylight atrium. Rooms and mattresses are first rate. Breakfast buffet was included and typical European choices with easy picks for we Americans. We enjoined the small beer garden. We did not use the pool or spa but it looked nice from the exterior. The hotel is across from a small pass through retail area with a grocery store for odds and ends, It was about a 20-25 minute walk to the edge of Old Town. I see some negative reviews about staff/service but honestly we didn't experience any of that. Our check in was handled by Viking so we would have missed any front desk unpleasantness.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, end of August into September. We liked the location close to the river and excellent transport options. Breakfast was top class and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. Covid precautions we're very professional without being intrusive or overbearing. Great beer garden on sunny days. Roof top bar is well designed with an outdoor terrace. Food options are many if you wanted a good meal before you head out. The hotel is very modern and very well maintained, including pool area. All staff appear to engage well and are friendly with guests, which can be rare in hotels of this size. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will return.

I am probably the only person that was happy to see long lines waiting for the check-in! This means that more people are finally travelling which can only be good for the industry and all of us that love travelling! This is a HUGE hotel, beautiful in all aspects (the main hall is a sight to be seen) I had an executive room which was on the 7th floor with nice views of the city. Very helpful and efficient staff, had great conversations with the nice lady in the "executive lounge" that unfortunately offered little more than a coffee and some soft drinks - it's sad to see the covid thing being used to cut back on amenities... The breakfast was great though (if only they kept some of this for the executive lounge all day...) Good strategic position, just a block away from the not so touristy area of Karlin that has a lot of places to eat and have a drink. Good internet - overall a very pleasant experience.

Room Tip: obviously high floors with city or river views are the best.

Dear A_Rantos, thank you very much for your kind and understanding point of view shared in your review! It is like a breath of fresh air to read a review like this. We are delighted to hear that despite the long line at check-in and smaller refreshment selection in the temporary executive lounge, your overall stay experience was wonderful. Great to hear that you have enjoyed the hip area of Karlin and that hotel staff did make you feel comfortable and your stay smooth. We will be more than happy to welcome you back in the not so distant future for your next Prague adventure! Warm regards, Katarina, Marketing
