I had to alter my travel plans several times, due to Covid and the level of service each time was second to none from Kristina. As a regular to Prague, Florenc is a good base and this hotel is very quiet, being just off the hustle of the Metro station area. I booked a superior room which was big with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. My only concern was that a coffee machine is provided but I was given one coffee pod, some sugar, but nothing else, not even a cup! When I queried this with reception, I was told that everything should be present but it still took a couple of requests before supplies turned up. After I had made myself a coffee, the cup disappeared, never to return. I ended up buying a cup and tea/coffee making items, including milk which I could store in the mini bar fridge. Breakfast was adequate for a small hotel and the scrambled eggs delicious. I did have to ask that the orange juice was refilled, one morning but overall I was happy with breakfast. Staff were pleasant at all times and I will stay here again.…
The hotel is 3 minutes from Florenc metro station. The staff is very kind. Our room was so clean and cozy. If the reservation is made on Booking the breakfast is 7 euro and 9 euro if you choose not to eat in everyday. Unfortunately i forgot to take some photos, but they are the same as Booking providing.
I would like to raise a complaint on Hotel Florenc as they were not customer friendly during the epidemic situation. We made a non-refund reservation to Hotel Florenc in January for June 18-21. We contacted the Hotel 3 weeks before departure and asked for a cancellation with refund or free reschedule based on corona crisis. This time borders between Hungary and Czech Republic were closed! Its operations manager, Kristina Skrebkova were all the time sticking to non-refund terms and conditions, safe situation in Prague and bad economical state of the hotel industry. We described that other reservations (ours and friends’ at other hotels) were immediately refunded even booked with same conditions. During this long conversation, authorities were opening up the border for business travellers between Hungary and Czech Republic, but not recommending any leisure travel. She was trying to convince us that it is safe to travel. We wish she would be in the same situation! We decided not to travel as safety is first, but it is worth sharing our experience with Hotel Florenc. We wanted to enjoy a nice weekend in Prague but it simply became a nightmare. We lost all money. We don’t recommend this hotel to anyone, exceptionally behavior of the management! Choose other hotel which puts customer first!…
Great hotel. In short: - friendly staff - spacious rooms, two windows - cleanliness - good breakfast - new and white bad linen - good bathroom, a bit cramped, but not critical - there is a hair dryer and a large hot radiator - there is a safe, tv Situated near the Florenc Subway station, close to the historic center, near the tram line and bus station. Breakfasts: cheeses, ham, scrambled eggs, sausages and so on, also fruits, pastries, various juices, tea, coffee. We liked the hotel with its tranquility. Have not found any disadvantages. There is a small Billa supermarket nearby, and a Lidl supermarket in 10-minutes.
Ok, a confession. I lived in Prague for a decade and for the last 5 years of my time there I walked past Hotel Florenc on my way to my favourite pub (it's two doors down). That proximity may have played a part in my choice of hotel for my recent trip back to Prague. Everything about staying at Hotel Florenc was perfect, the staff were superbly friendly and helpful, the room was clean, had everything I needed, and breakfast each morning was easy and tasty. Knowing Prague as well as I do, the location was ideal, close to metro, trams, and buses, as well as being within easy walking distance of the touristy bit of the city. Next time I go to the city,Hotel Florenc will be my first choice for accommodation, for more reasons than just proximity to my favourite drinking den.
