We really enjoyed our stay at the Cloister Inn. We booked a standard room and were very surprised at the size of the room, it was huge! Very comfortable stay and the hotel is within walking distance of all the popular tourist attractions. We walked everywhere while staying here and were never too far from our hotel. Also the restaurants...

We didnt spend much time in the hotel, it was chosen for location which did not disappoint. 5/10 minute walk from all main attractions. We travelled as 4 ladies and found the area perfectly safe. Rooms were huge a little old fashioned & quirky. Very clean, comfy beds and a great shower. Breakfast was plentiful to start your day. Staff...

I stayed in the tiny tiny room for 3 days while touring Prague. This hotel is very basic. Not even a tiny bit fancy. But! It's location is ideal and the staff are really helpful. You will need to cab it from the airport but everything else is walking distance. It's perfect if your only plan is to sleep there,...

The hotel was very well located so it was easy to reach several interesting places (old town square, Charles Bridge) by foot. The service was nice and hotel felt safe. The room was quite basic but there was quite nicely space. Breakfast was pretty basic but covered our needs. We enjoyed our stay!

We arrived at the hotel early on the 30/12/16, by taxi, arranged for us by the hotel. The receptionist was most welcoming and we filled in the required forms for check in, the Rooms (as expected where not ready) but we where offered refreshments after our luggage was stored and told our rooms would be ready about 2pm. There are...

I stayed with my husband and 3 adult children and would recommend this hotel. It is clean and comfortable and breakfast is as you'd expect in Europe. The staff are polite and helpful. It is in a quiet street and within easy walking distance of main attractions. Although there is no bar, there is one opposite with live music and...

Quiet hotel in pleasant street. Not steps away from Charles bridge as advertised but only about a 10 minute walk, 20 from the square. Rooms are old fashioned with fairly hard beds but quite and the beds didn't stop us from getting a good night's sleep. Free safe in the rooms. Breakfast was fine. It was lovely having free tea...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
