We stayed for a long weekend, and our stay was faultless. We received a very warm welcome, and we could store our cases no probelm since we arrived early. The room was spacious and very comfortable - one of the best beds we've slept in. Spotlessly clean and were cleaned every day. Breakfast was lovely too with option of prosecco...

Stayed in a quiet twin room with my teenage son for three nights. We were there during a cold snap (minus 12 at one point) but never felt cold. The welcome was equally warm - the staff were very friendly and helpful. Jirka and Marek on reception were outstandingly helpful. Clean, modern rooms, excellent location and very nice breakfast (with...

Very friendly staff, happy to help with anything and everything which proved very useful when we wanted to venture out to visit the zoo. We were able to buy our bus tickets, with instructions on what to do with them and given directions to the bus stop we needed. If we ever visit Prague again, we will definitely return to...

The location is excellent in a small, quiet charming square next to the Charles Bridge and ideal for the castle (10 min walk) or the old town square (15 min walk in the opposite direction) or Kafka's museum (5 mins). The staff are extremely friendly, Jarik in particular was incredibly nice and helpful, and ready to provide recommendations for activities...

Absolutely excellent little hotel, a real gem. Perfectly located by the foot of the Charles Bridge so getting around is easy. The hotel itself is gorgeous inside, having been recently renovated it's quite modern but retains the original features. The staff were all brilliant, so friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could stayed longer. The hotel is very personal and exceptionally clean. We booked a delux room and we were impressed. Lovely big room with view over the street. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Buffet breakfast was great, something for everyone, including prosecco, which we did have, how naughty, but...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
