We visited Prague for a week and stayed here the entire time. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Plus, not only is it in a perfect location regarding the Charles Bridge but the tram stop and metro station are really close so getting around the city was very easy. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. We had three...

There simply cannot be a better located hotel in Prague old city .. Just beneath the Charles Bridge.. Rooms are pretty good .. Though not modern .. But I enjoyed staying there to the hilt.. The receptionist and the service people were very helpful as well!! They helped me with the itinerary, taxi, and all that I asked for.

We couldn't have had a better location in Prague. This hotel is right on the end of the Charles Bridge, right beside it, making it very convenient to get to either side of the city, yet you are right there on the lesser town side. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. There is a wonderful area on the second...

Right next to the Charles bridge! A wonderful location in fact it was excellent. Not only is it enjoyable, it makes it easy to orient yourself when navigating back to your hotel after being out all day! A wonderful welcome by the staff which added to the warmth of my visit. The complimentary champagne and chocs went down well! The...

Yes, it's all about location - and Hotel at the Three Ostriches knows what does this means :) There are two main points. First the Hotel is located few steps from the famous Charles' bridge. Second the Hotel is few steps away from Lesser Quarter square. If the Old Town quarter is beautiful, the Lesser Quarter is much more romantic....

The hotel is directly on the Charles bridge. The staff is very nice, the rooms big and clean. Don't forget to try the restaurant at least once during your stay. It was an amazing experience that made me enjoy the beautiful Prague even more

If you are looking for a hotel in the old Prague, this is the best choice. You can easily access Charles Bridge, because it's only few meters far and Prague Castle or Old Town Square are also close. This hotel is not modern, but old fashioned, so you can feel the old Prague here!

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

“As there is no elevator, if you cannot use narrow, pie-shaped stairs, ask for the first floor.”

“If you don't want to be bothered by noise, ask for a room that does not over look the bridge. This hotel does not have A/C - so not sure I'd want to stay there in the summer. If you are American, remember that the 1st floor is one floor up - so the second floor is two flights of stairs. ”
