A really nice hotel at an excellent location. The interiors are very nice, spacious room and bath. The only drawback of the large rooms is the long hallways you need to walk... :) But all in all, a very pleasant stay at a surprisingly great hotel. The breakfast was very good - you can skip lunch afterwards :)

The suprisingly large room and bath (for the reasonable rate) appeared to be newly renovated. Wifi in room was spotty but free and useful. The hotel is on a quiet street. Very friendly staff, happy to call reservations and accomodate our needs. The included breakfast was quite extensive and impressive Highly recommend.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. It is a great hotel, from it's location, to it's friendly and courteous staff, to the buffet breakfast, this is an outstanding hotel. The hotel is located across the street from a Police Station. So it's safe and believe me when I tell you it's quiet, it's quiet. We could open...

My wife and I just completed a 6 night stay at the Hotel Unitas. The location is very good, very near all the important sites. The only reason the location is not excellent is that the street the hotel is on is a just a little bit dreary. The police station across the street from the hotel gives a feeling...

It is located in a quiet street within easy walking distance of Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square. Hotel is excellent; good size room and bathroom; very clean; staff friendly and very helpful; breakfast very good...

As has been said by numerous reviewers, this hotel was perfect! The hotel was originally a convent then a jail during the Russian occupation in 1968, and now it is a fabulous hotel. The location was within the Old Town area within walking distance to all the sites Prague has to offer. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with impeccably...

Nice clean hotel but nothing out of the ordinary. Room was clean fairly small, basic and comforatable and the staff were ok. The street the hotel is on is a bit of a dump but you are only a ten minute walk away to the center. Best part of this hotel is the breakfast which are very nice indeed!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
