Stayed here for 3 nights and loved the hotel which is steeped in history. Everything very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Large rooms and good sized comfortable beds. Easy walking to all central locations and good restaurants all around. Breakfast buffet is the best I have seen for a long time. Unfortunately we were allocated a room overlooking the...

An excellent hotel, which we could not fault..Staff are really professional going out of their way to help you.The hotel has a quiet position, but perfectly placed to explore the city. The hotel is immaculate throughout. We have stayed in many, but few have reach the standard of the Unitas. Would recommend without hesitation. When we return to Prague it will be to this hotel....

Hotel is well located, easy walking distance, yet on a quite alley/street. Extra large, immaculate rooms and friendly staff. In fact I was greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival. This was great and surprisingly effective in recovering from many hours of travel. The breakfast was excellent and could be a positive deciding factor on its own. Beyond breakfast,...

Interior design is beautiful, especially the lobby is very charming. Also the entrance is welcoming, the street is quite dodgy and dirty, so it is nice to enter to this hotel. The room was rather basic. There are Ikea-lamps, and the bed linen was old and not so smooth any more. The wi-fi was rather tricky time to time, but...

The hotel from the street is not particularly attractive, the road it is on is generally quiet and most sights are in 10 minute walking distance. The hotel entrance is regal and the receptionists were very friendly and very helpful and they all had great English. The rooms were very spacious with high ceilings, comfy beds, a minibar in the...

Great location, very large room, great facilities, nice and reach breakfast, very nice and helpful staff. The bed is not "the best", not sure why but it was not that comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was not perfect.

Nice hotel. Not very cosy rooms but ok size and big bathroom. Breakfast really good. We had a room against the inner patio so it was really quiet and the room was nice and cold. Good location. Close to the center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A big minus for the perfumed washing detergent.

From the check-in through my 8-night stay to check-out, Unitas provided a warm customer experience. Had an unexpected 13-hour layover in Berlin, kept Unitas staff informed and they had a car waiting to pick me up at the airport. A "welcome" glass of sparkling wine helped me navigate registration. Felt at home immediately - none of that first-time-in- the-Czech-Republic anxiety...

The Unitas hotel is a very nice and quiet hotel. It is placed very close to the old town, (2-3 min) but not in the middle of the noisy area.. Big advantage. The room is big comparing to other hotels with the same rates.

We stayed for 3 nights in February and had a great stay. Hotel is ideally located on edge of old town, Charles Bridge 5 mins walk, Castle 30 mins (it is up a hill!) and all the fun to explore old streets are all right there. Fascinating history to the building and fortunately the serenity of its former role as...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
