We stayed at this hotel during Christmas last year. We loved the way the hotel greeted us: Glass of Champagne with small dessert (Tapas style) at the front desk. We got a nice room with a view to the Police building. The room was very spacious including a wine & Prague cookie style to celebrate Christmas. The carpet in the...

Definitely the best part of my birthday trip. The one thing about Prague that was near-perfect. Clean, quiet, friendly, so warm, inviting and modern in design, which is so needed when in Prague. You can't tell at all that the building is so old and been through a lot, however, a guided stroll through the cellars is possible if you...

We stayed at the Unitas Hotel for three nights, a former convent and the Headquarters of the Communist Secret Police! Lots of History but also great service, clean rooms and a great breakfast! Recommended!

We had such an excellent experience at Unitas! We had a smooth check in, a very clean room, a great variety of options for breakfast, and the staff was so wonderfully nice and helpful. The location is convenient--just a 5-10 minute walk to the city center. It's also in a safe area, located just across the street from a police...

I stayed here with my mom and just loved our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and the amenities were great (free, extensive breakfast daily, a selection of DVDs and books to check out, and coffee/tea corners on every floor). The atmosphere was so cozy and warm throughout the hotel. I recommend this stay to everyone!

Fabulous boutique hotel in the centre of Prague. Great rooms, good breakfast and a great location. Booked through expedia and not expensive. Got a nice bottle of free wine in the room when checking in. Would definitely return when coming back to Prague.

We recently spent a long weekend at Unitas. I was a little apprehensive, as it was the most I had ever spent on a hotel - and I have been disappointed with plenty of 4* hotels in the UK. I need not have worried - Unitas was superb. We paid a little extra for a family suite and it was...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
