I was here for three nights for a congress. The hotel is situated close ( walking distance) to the old town on the riverside. Outside it is 70s style ugly and inside a lot of dark wood, green carpet etc which makes you think of the old days. However breakfast and lunch are modern and good - what you expect...

Too bad there are only 5 stars to rate this hotel. My husband and I made a spontaneous trip to Prague for our anniversary. We were treated like Royalty, and where very surprised with an upgrade to the executive Jr Suit. The room had everything you need and more, bath ropes, slippers and umbrella, even and expresso machine. The beds...

Had a fab time here, the city is stunning and very friendly. Wenceslas Square is worth a visit and don't forget Charles Bridge; one of the most stunning I've seen, the castle is well worth a visit too. Just go and enjoy it, and don't forget the Jewish Quarter too!!!

While the rooms are not super modern, the location and service in this hotel are really great. 2 mn walk from the Jewish museum, old new shul, and kosher restaurants. To be considered (as well as King David) for Jewish travelers

Stayed here for a few days while on a city break. Very pleasant and welcoming hotel, concierge on hand to help with luggage. Lobby and downstairs very modern and stylish but the bedroom floors are very dated, it was like being in The Shining but that didn't bother me much at all. Didn't get breakfast or food in the hotel...

We went back for a visit in Prague after many years. The hotel is located at the point we have chosen the most comfortable of the city. Convenient public transportation. A short walk from attractions, restaurants and clubs. The hotel staff is very courteous and excellent service.

There are several pros to spend a night in this hotel. First of all the location just few minutes from the most famous sightseeings of Prague. Then the superb restaurant Zlata Praha at the 9th floor with a fantastic view on the old city. Finally the Spa with all the right equipment to keep you fit. Last but not least...

The stay was exceptional. It's not our first stay at IHR hotels and the service was as usual perfect, all our requests were kindly met and our expectations were even surpassed! Location: the hotel is perfectly located: it is just a few minutes walk (7-10) to Old Town Square, the ferry-stop is just in front of the hotel, moreover the...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
