We stayed here as a group of 5 lads and the accommodation was well suited to our needs. Large beds, ample room for us all and a kitchen where we could have a well stocked fridge of supplies. Apartment was clean and in a great location. One thing I would note is the apartment isn't necessarily in the same block...

I booked an apartments at Charles Bridge Apt. for my family while they were visiting Prague. We really enjoyed their stay there! The flat was clean and the staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly. The apartment looked the same like on the pictures, which we really appreciated, because it is not always so. It was spacious and...

This is a not place for mature travellers. While the furnishings are adequate, that is kitchen gear, towels and TV, the beds are terrible, hard and low to the floor, making them a chore to climb out of in the morning. Very cruel on old bones, suggest you pay a bit extra and head somewhere else nearby. The standard is...

Dear William, thanks for your review and for your nice comments. Let me please assure you that our apartments are very popular among mature travellers. Most of all because they are very well equipped, situated mostly on the ground floor/ first floor (it can always be arranged upon request), right in the centre of Prague. The beds in our apartments...

Myself and my best friend stayed here for our 4 night stay in Prague. We loved it here. The apartment itself was an excellent size, extremely clean and it had everything we needed. It's decor was also lovely which made it more enjoyable. It's location regarding its proximity to landmarks, particularly Charles bridge was excellent and it was within a...

We were dropped off at our apartment block by taxi late in the evening having come on an evening flight. We had made prior arrangements to meet with the rep from Charles Bridge Apartments (CBA) but no-one was there. After an hour of waiting in the dark I tail-gated someone into the apartment block & found a CBA business card...

We stayed in a one room apartment. Our flight was delayed and the check in was delayed. Apartment was clean but certainly not spotless. Comfortable stay. Stayed during winter and heaters were strong enough. Washing machine also in working condition. Cons: 1. spiral staircase may not be convenient if you are carrying heavy luggage and for the elderly, disabled 2....

We arrived early so grabbed s hot chocolate and wafer from a lovely cafe round the corner. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. Our apartment was a few streets away from the reception check in. Although the the lady gave us directions. Right round corner from the Charles bridge. I am in love with this city already! When...

The apartment was very large, but somewhat dated on the accommodations and décor. We stayed in one of the apartments near the National Theater, not really near the Charles Bridge. Note that the apartments are located in many areas, but you must check in on the west side of the river, north of Charles Bridge. The wifi was very good....

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
