Negatives first- had the room had a better bathroom, I probably would have awarded all five stars. However, there was no shower, just a shower attachment to the bath. Also, the small room with the toilet could occasionally smell a little "drainy". The room doesn't include breakfast, but really there's so many options in this location, that's really not a...

Nice bed, good service. No street noise at all. Small balcony. WiFi worked fine. There was no shower curtain, nor shower holder, but taking a bath in the tub was a luxurious experience. The location is perfect -- close to the Parzhski Grad (the Castle and the Palace), and not far from Charles bridge. A lot of small restaurants nearby....

Room was lovely and big. Beautifully decorated ceiling and comfy bed. Very quiet considering the busy area. Would be better with a proper shower and hot chocolate options alongside the coffee and tea. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, but not much else. The room had no shower (not a total surprise in Europe, but not "four star") The only way to access the primary bedroom was by a steep, slippery open staircase. Most lamps were missing bulbs. The 2nd small bedroom extremely cold (walls frozen to the touch). No elevator. Spotty maid service/towel replacement. We prepaid...

This is one of the cosiest hotel rooms I ever stayed in. The bed was so comfy, the bathroom was lovely and the decor/theme was so cute. It was very spacious too with a couch and a little kitchenette. I've seen other reviews giving out about lack of a breakfast, we never had a problem with this. There's a little...

The room was nice and the location was exellent! The lack of breakfast was a huge disappointment! We also found that you shouldn't leave any money at the room; it disappeared during the day along with the cleaner.

We stayed here for three nights last May for my partners 30th. I mentioned this when ordering to the hotel staff who arranged for a birthday cake and a special local drink to be supplied in our room for a small fee. Our hotel room was absolutely stunning and the location is perfect. Right next to Prague Castle and just...

We had a room on the top floor with exposed beams/rafters. The room was very spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was large and modern. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful and friendly. There were only a couple of minor things that were not so good, the snacks at the mini bar seemed very...

The hotel was beautiful and the room was lovely - but it was 2 single beds that were pushed together for a double and would easily push apart which made it not so comfortable. The location was great. The restaurant was average, not bad but nothing amazing

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
