Stayed here three nights. Only thing going for it is it's location which is walking distance to everything you want in Prague. Old world charm can sometimes be quant, but this place is just old. Doesn't look anything like the photos. Bed was so uncomfortable. Old Spring mattress..rock hard. I had to double up my quilt and lie on that...

Just returned from a lovely break .Stayed here for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is excellent. Just a minutes walk from the Old Town Square. Quite a quiet location. We booked a taxi direct using Prague Airport Shuttle. It costs £20 one way. They were great. The room we were given was not as we had booked. No...

My significant other and I really enjoyed our stay here. Incredibly close to old town square. The woman at the front desk works almost all day and night, she was very helpful. The room we had was very large and clean. Great for the price you pay.

We had a wonderful stay at Leon d'Or. Only two minutes walking from the old town square, huge clean room with an amazing view of the tower of the Old Town Hall and of Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn. friendly staff, free bottle of water at the arrival, big buffet breakfast in the morning. Great value for the...

We stayed here last week for three nights. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely lady on reception who spoke perfect English. As we were early we were able to put our luggage in the secure room and head out into the city for a few hours. The location of this hotel is amazing. Few minutes walk one way...

Great central location, spacious rooms and good quality continental breakfast to start each day visiting what wonders Prague has to offer, we stayed here from Thursday to Monday and enjoyed every minute. Great little Restaurant just round the corner called Giovanni (Italian) reasonably priced too. Havelske Trziste market is to the left of the hotel as you come out offering...

We stayed at the Jalta in 2015 which was amazing. This year we could not afford the Jalta so we stayed here. Rooms are nice and spacious. Good bathroom facilities. The beds are grossly uncomfortable and the pillows aren't actually pillows, they are like chunks of leftover blanket. But like...we got over that, it was just the severe spinal injuries...

There was 11 of us travelling, all booked into this hotel in 3 x rooms for 2 & 1 room for 5 people. Check in was easy, most of us had booked directly with the hotel & pre-paid, the others via booking.com & had to pay on arrival. Check in staff really helpful. Breakfast was good, self service & always...

Great location in the middle of old town. Room was quite big and breakfast was good! Room was a bit older and had a few bits of damage through it but it was still great. If you want to stay in old town, this is where to stay!

The staff was somewhat rude and straight out lied to us several times during our stay. The rooms did not look as promised. The windows curtains could not be opened, aka no promised view of the town. The roof terrace leaned a LOT, you could not be on it without risking your life. The overall quality of the room and...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
