I've got the room for 90£ for 3 nights with breakfast included. So very pleased with this price. It's a good hotel if your on a budget. The bathroom looks like in a 4 star hotel. The rest much more like a holiday house. The walls are thin therefore you can hear the neighbours. But for a short city break...

Despite being an old hotel, the location is very good and can be easily reached by tram and by metro. They serve a modest breakfast. There are lots of cheap restaurants nearby (around 100 crowns - 4 euros).

We just had a wonderful experience in a very nice and not expensive hotel. The rooms are nice with extra sofa for some. Large bathroom. Excellent breakfast included. Most convenient location 1 min from the tram line and 2 minutes from the main metro line, and actually located in walking distance from the center of the old town. The only...

The bed was very uncomfortable - consisted of two single beds pushed together and a double mattress superimposed onto the two single mattresses. Room was very run down. Staff (particularly the evening receptionist were unhelpful). There was also no kettle in the room as advertised. Breakfast was OK. The only good thing about the hotel was the location.

Booked this through an agent and apparently it's a four star. The room is very basic and should only be used for a place to rest you head. It's not a relaxing room. Suitable for people on a budget or stag doos.

Kind staff, good and quite location in the centre, but very old hotel, with no charm, and blood on new blankets, very narrow rooms, thiny walls! The breakfast with chippy bread, only with cold version of breakfast. For the price of one night you can have a several antoher hotels with better quality of sleep, services, breakfast etc.

The most important thing for me is a clean place. Since the entrance the hotel smells like dust, the room was dirty the walls, the floor and the base of the bed was VERY dirty it had weird stains. We paid 3 nights and after the first night we couldn't stand to be in that dirty room and moved to...

Location is good and quiet but i'm dissapointed by the rooms: old furniture, dirty bedrooms (one of pillows was full of hairs although seemed starched linen) and bathrooms, the opening window was broken. What you get to breakfast (omelette, frankfurters, eggs, cucumbers, chesse) is exactly what you can see in pictures of hotel informations. Wi-fi connection very poor and you have to ask for...

We found the hotel quite easily from the metro, which was straight from the airport bus service. We got in early, about 10.30am so we thought we'd just risk it and see if we could check in early. We were greeted and given our key straight away, which is nice to get settled after a long morning of travelling. We...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
