Near the Charles Bridge and National theatre. I had two nights at this family run hotel.
The meal was good, the staff fulfilled all of our wishes.
I hope to come back here once again. The Prague Castle is really close.
I spent a week at the Rezidence Dvorak. This has been by far the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. I stayed there for a week for my birthday and it was just fantastic. When I go back to Prague I...More
Great location in quiet part of Prague just off the bridge. Lovely room, actually a suite, and they graciously accommodated our late arrival (with notice). Enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast including fresh bread and pastries. We stayed three nights and would highly recommend. Our...More
Unfortunately, we did and only checked the reviews afterwards. I echo all the negative comments and clearly this place is designed to rip off unwary tourists. We have been travelling in the Czech Republic for awhile and have had nothing but positive experiences, even in...More
The location was wonderful. Although close to the main centres, it was a quiet getaway. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room, the attic, was spacious and beautiful. Walking up close to 60 steps was well worth the effort.

Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
