I travel in November so there wasn't a lot of people around. They have a kitchen which helps to prepare some food, and save some money. The rooms were clean but smelly (sleeping in a room full of man) hahaha The bathroom was super clean (not a lot of women around I thought that was the reason). Staff was nice,...

If you want accommodation as cheap as possible, this is your hostel. If you want friendly staff, working showers, a good atmosphere, and/or a sense of security, look elsewhere. The staff at this hostel were beyond rude to me and my friends during our stay. They were unhelpful when we had questions and acted as if we were inconveniencing them...

For its price the location was perfect, and you needed between 10 and 15 min walking to the central square. It was very cheap and the room was nice. Even though we booked a room for two people we got a room with three beds. Very good. Many showers and toilets, and the WiFi was fast. The showers were not...

This is your average budget hostel: mediocre dorm beds, kitchen, shared bathrooms. I'm a bit surprised by the negative reviews; I'm not sure what people were expecting. You get what you pay for. My partner and I booked an 8-bed dorm but we were upgraded to a 4-bed room because it was vacant at the time and we wanted something...

I stayed here a few times and found it adequate in relation to the price, if basic and a little dirty. I was impressed with the large kitchen and reliable wifi. However, my experience last summer means I will never return, and warn potential guests to proceed extremely carefully. I booked a twelve night stay whilst I was in Prague...

Seriously, just rating 2 stars for the fact that it's cheap. Nothing else is fine in there. It's really really dirty. I was actually kinda worried, it was risky to touch anything. And the bathrooms... well, not sure it was better to take a shower or to skip it, probably the same result. Also we had a room for 3...

Had an amazing three night stay at this hostel in a private 4 bed room. The reception staff were polite and very helpful. We also booked a cab for them for a very low price at 500! (£16) we were in the clock of "flats" next door to the main area. It was very well located and very private away...

This hostel is located close to all tourist attractions and public transport. My friend and I stayed in seperate single rooms, which were clean and furnished with the basics. Ideal for a short stay. Unfortunately the shared bathrooms were pretty much the opposite. From showers and toilets spread an indefinable ordor (including the smell produced by another guest who had...

Hostel is located near to the tramline and only a 20 minute walk from the historic centre of Prague. Rooms are clean and tidy - small lockers available. Only a few convenient plug sockets. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by one bloke in the room who snored incessantly all night (admittedly, not the fault of the hostel). However, earlier that...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
