We enjoyed our stay in Pilsen. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were within a block of the Christmas market. Parking is convenient. I think it cost 6 euros a day, but it was worth the piece of mind. Our room was very nice. I did hear the traffic from the street, but there are rooms that are quieter. Breakfast was great. I’m waiting for the book about the hotel to be published in English. It is quite a historical place.
For a long time I've had my eye on visiting Plzen, the architecture is meant to be brilliant, and the food and culture as well. I can say we were not let down, it lived up to its expectations and more, very vibrant actually. We weren't sure where to stay, just wanted to be near the centre so we could explore, and this hotel choice was excellent, close to the Great Synagogue. Nice breakfast, comfortable and spacious room. Would suggest to other first timers here.
Located in a excellent area. Very good impression. Location excellent. Old but charming. Room are big and confontable. Near a tram station and a the center of all. I recommended for anybody that visit
There is a private owner's club downstairs. That means a lot of noise until 3am. Rooms are smelly, the smell goes from allowed cigarette smoking in the club... I just could not stand it. No help at all. Othervise nice place ruined by owner who does not care about his customers.
Stayed here recently while attending the metalfest. Location wise this hotel is pretty decent as its just off the main square. But unfortuantly thats where the good things end. The room i was in was on the 1st floor and looked out onto the park like area. It was extremely basic with no phone, no tea or coffee, dirty light fittings. There's no ac in the rooms so its baking hot. The noise from outside at night plus the nightclub downstairs is horrifc with bottles being smashed all night. The tv randomly switches itself on at 00:00 at full volume. Breakfast is also not very good and very very basic. Only saving points are the staff are friendly, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was good.
