This place was built 20+ years ago and hasn't gotten much attention since. It's cheap but expect to get what you pay for (and maybe a bit less). Literally everything needs maintenance and the staff doesn't look like they are planning any of it. Also the staff needs some time to warm up to you because at first they also...

We spent two afternoons at this very special spot. The view from the restaurant is unique. The food was great and very quickly prepared. While we waited for our food, we went down to the beach. It is a beautiful small white beach and there is a very good chance you will have it all to yourself. The staff were...

Not the most luxurious place, but perfect for what we wanted with a very minimal budget. A beautiful location with awesome beaches amongst the blowholes and rocks with great swimming spots. It's about 3km from the nearest shop so make sure you stock up on snacks and drinks if you are looking at spending most of your time at the...

Let me start this off by saying I did not stay here myself! I met two girls who were staying here and they invited me to spend the say with them at the resort to use the beach and hang out in their bungalow. While the beach was small it was very beautiful, and at low tide you could walk...

Stayed here for a night, we really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is quirky - looks quasi-abandoned. Set on a rugged stretch of coastline and looks pretty wind-beaten. You can wander down a path to the beach. The staff are friendly and prepared us a decent dinner. We had a beer afterwards in the run down lounge area, but got kicked...

First the positives: Amazing beach (but be careful at high tide), spectacular setting, and very friendly staff. The restaurant serves good portions of delicious food although drinks are overpriced (e.g. US$3/NZ$4.50 for a lukewarm iced tea). Now the negatives: The condition of the rooms is terrible. Broken fly screens meaning you couldn't have any windows open during mosquito season. This...

This was the first place we stayed in during our travel to Tonga. The place needs a face-lift as its very basic for the money they charge. We paid almost $80 NZD per night and the standard of the rooms worst then a backpacker. The location is good beautiful sunset and lit if fun on the beach with the blow...

Stopped over a month ago with my family to have lunch there and found the staff there to be quite friendly and kind. Food there was nice but was'nt worth $20 for a burger. View is amazing as you can see the blowholes and watch the sun.

We came to Tonga for our daughters wedding and found Keleti to be a great Tongan holiday experience. Yes it is a bit tired but they are trying hard to bring it back to a tidy condition. The fales were basic but comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. Yes the food was basic but the all day breakfasts were reasonable...

“No Wi-Fi in rooms, you need to go to the bar/meal area to use it. All rooms very similar, No TV, No Aircon. Neither were needed.”

“Buy some breakfast items and just have your own breakfast at your Fale. If you need a tea pot just ask the kitchen staff and they will give you one for your room. Then if you are in Town have a large lunch so you only need a sandwich or noodles for dinner which helps you save dollars. We purchased a large bunch of banannas and paw paws and kept them on our table for when we were hungry. FRESH bannanas on toast with a cup of tea for breakfast was really yummy.”
