We had a fabulous stay here on Easter sunday. The room was just as we saw in pictures, it was really comfy with nice carpet and it was furnished really well. They even had air conditioning which we ended up needing!! Really nice shower too. One of my favorite touches was the fact they left decaff coffee on the coffee stand, and as I am caffeine intolerant this was really appreciated and didnt go unnoticed! It was a lovley touch. Ideal location if you want to explore donegal and go to places such as Malin / Buncrana etc. would definitely recommend!

Stayed here over Halloween break and the room was huge, with a even bigger bed was spotless and the shower was fantastic which I can find such a let down in some other places but not here. Spent a few days seeing all Inishowen had to offer I can’t begin to explain how amazing the costal views and walk ways are. We called into the bar down stairs both nights they had live music on in the lounge and in the courtyard area out the back with a great buzz about the place my favourite was in the cosy little sung bar and got a lovely seat beside the fire which was so welcome after a day exploring with beautiful creamy pint of Guinness.

There are so many great things about this place. The location is great, right in the centre of town easy walking to many bars, shops and restaurants. The rooms as pictured are the cleanest you’ll ever find and are of a 4* hotel standard. The tea coffee making facilities are great and en-suite has soap, toothpaste provided. It’s a warm cosy place. The other major thing is that you can use the pool at Ballyliffin lodge which we did.

However there is one major downside……..it’s above an Irish pub. Whilst our room was at the front we didn’t hear any music, but on both nights we stayed (the first one from 4am - 5am) and the 2nd night from (12.30 - 1.30am) there were major parties and shouting in the other rooms just outside our room. The other guests all seemed to know each other and were going between all the other rooms. I think it was different guests both nights as one group burst into our room at one point by accident (we should have locked the door) and I’d guess that given it’s above Joyce’s that this noise between rooms is common which is a real shame as it did disrupt an otherwise great spot.

Wow I am still in shock at how beautiful these rooms were. Finished to the highest standard. Will definitely return as soon as we can. Went down to the bar for a few drinks and to watch football that evening, lady behind the bat provided 5 star hospitality making you feel at home. Highly recommend! (Travelled from Galway)

We had a great stay at Joyces'. Great value for money and first class rooms. We were surprised how good the rooms were. Very good value for money and spotlessly clean.

One very small issue is there were two very small hand towels far two adults for using after showering. You need at least one bath towel each.

Dropped one star for this . Nice pub down stairs and helpful staff. Very busy at weekends, music on until around 11.30. We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again.

WOW! what a fabulous building.
This Venue is beautiful. The care and attention to detail that is involved is incredible.
The Snug bar, the front bar and then the Lounge just looks class. I was in for a few drinks and meal recently and was blown away.
Great atmosphere and Live football playing on all the TVs which was great for me personally.
Look forward to visiting again very soon.

Excellent rooms with modern fittings, comfortable bed and super clean. Excellent central location and we had a great welcome and were helped with our bike storage. Great value stay and is an ideal stopping point if you are finishing or starting the Mizen to Malin challenge as we were.

Modern hotel style room above the bar with its own easy secure access. The bar downstairs is friendly and cosy, great staff particularly Alana who made time for everyone. TVs for sports, pool tables and a dart board. Would definitely visit again.
