Nice, quiet location with a good view. The price is high. The staff ist friendly and helpful. In this price-class would more personal commitment of the owners be desirable. The big rooms have a good braai-facility.

My husband & I recently stayed here for a wedding weekend at the Hartford House down the road. We stayed in an adorable & cozy cottage which was like a cute, small house. The entry foyer/kitchen area was good to have, but we hardly used it. The bathroom was off this area with a shower & dispensers containing bath gel...

Beautiful property and good service. It was a pity that the shower and fridge was not checked properly before we arrived, as both gave problems... the fridge was not working, but a camping fridge was supplied promptly. the shower was cold when we arrived by later it warmed up and worked better.

I have just spent 2 nights there with my family and dogs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. the rooms were spacious and reasonably furnished although ours did not have a wardrobe or cupboard to hang things away in. The fire place was used as the weather was cold and misty and this warmed things up nicely. The breakfasts...

Far from the madding crowd, Rearsby Farm offers a way out. Somewhere spectacularly awesome and gloriously free from stress and worries, this is a great place to be. The self catering cottages are very comfortable. Perhaps a little more management attention to maintenance would generate even more praise. OK we were there in the dead of winter, even seeing a...

Classic Country Setting with amazing views. Friendly hospitality and good breakfast. Nice country interiors with self catering facilities and braai outside. Winter warmers with central fireplace in each room. For Families - interlinking doors to join rooms. Quite and peaceful experience.

We spent a night at old Rearsby. What a beautiful full place! Highly recommended! Warm and welcoming staff, well appointed rooms and amazing views. The only negative was worn upholstery and bath mat. Loved the fireplace. Delicious breakfast

Very peaceful corner of the world located next to stud farms. The rooms are located in pairs with interleading doors. Cottages have views facing the escarpment. On our way to breakfast at the main farmhouse we came across a well maintained flower garden overlooked by a pair of stately centenarian oaks. The owners certainly have a passion for the estate....

We stayed over on our way to the coast. Everything was just perfect, from the warm welcome we received to the big fresh breakfast just before we left. The accommodation was just what we needed. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

We recently visited South Africa and happened to be passing through the beautiful KZN midlands on our way to Durban with friends, and wanted to stay over for a night. I found Old Rearsby on trip advisor and read the review written by Brussel Sprout from December last year about the poor self catering options. As we were wanting B&B...
