We had a meal here on Christmas Eve,Four of us. The pub is typically Cornish, small, local pub with a small restaurant area. There was nobody else booked on the night so we had the place to ourselves, except for the plastic spider looking at us! Some thought it was real..... We had a jolly young lady serving us( forgotten her name). She was...

Just had an excellent Sunday Lunch in the Plume of Feathers. The so called "small" sized lunch was large and the large size, massive!! Excellent roast beef, really lovely crispy roast potatoes and 7 different veggies! Very good Apple Crumble and custard to follow. Pork, Lamb or Chicken were also available for Sunday Roast lunch and 2 or 3 other...

The hotel is full of old Cornish charm, the menu has plenty of variety and the food was excellent in quality and quantity. The hotel has always had a reputation for lovely real ale and that is still the case. First class lunch, excellent service and we will return.

We stayed at the Plume of Feathers for 2 nights,It's a quaint pub just off the A30. We found the staff very friendly & helpful. Our room was above the bar & although we could hear people talking it wasn't intrusive & it was what one would expect. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide & varied choice. Altogether we enjoyed...

Stopped for lunch on holiday.ordered 2 sandwiches chips and a j20 and ginger beer.total bill £17.50 and worth every penny.the chips were to die for the ham was proper and there was home made coleslaw and salad. The staff was very friendly and Cornish saying thank you my lovely! The toilets were clean and I would certainly return.

I nearly had lunch in this place. I was put off by the sheer indifference, dowdy decor and a distinct lack of enthusiasm. The place advertises 'a warm welcome' - are they kidding? It felt like 'a local pub for local people, you're not welcome here' - apologies to the League of Gentlemen for stealing their line! The cider was...

Room comfortable and fairly spacious; could do with some repair though. Window couldn't be opened and mould around the window frame unsightly. Stayed a week but room only cleaned once, and that was after being requested. Staff helpful and generally friendly and breakfast choice and quantity very good. Biggest bugbear though, the music would start up at about 6.40 in...

Called in for an evening meal which i must say was excellent .On the down side they had no Real Ales/ Local beers available at all, they explained that they were awaiting deliveries the next day! We must say the staff and the general atmosphere were very good.Despite the hiccup with the Ales we will not hesitate to return there for...

The Plume of Feathers has newly updated accommodation, and they've done it very nicely with modern colour scheme and all new fittings. Makes the pub downstairs look a bit dowdy in comparison. Very nice place to stay in Portscatho, which doesn't have much else. If you're lucky there is free street parking outside.Staff very nice and helpful
